Karnataka KMAT 2020 Notification – Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is conducted to screen applicants seeking admission into various colleges offering MBA/PGDM and MCA Courses. The exam is conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). The Karnataka KMAT exam is conducted in different places across Karnataka. Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka KMAT 2020

Entry requirements into professional courses like MBA/PGDM/MCA in Karnataka are followed as per the UGC guidelines.
MBA/PGDM Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST applicant). Applicants in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
MCA Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks. Applicants should have studied Maths at   10+2   stage or at graduation level.

Applicants can also download from the KMAT Online Application Form the KMAT website www.kmatindia.com
Applications may be obtained by paying Rs.50/- in any of the participating colleges.
Instructions for Filling the Online Application Form
Name Write your Name as it appears in your School Leaving Certificate.
Nativity Select the appropriate option to confirm your nativity If you do not belong to Karnataka state by either Birth or Domicile, please select the option – Non-Karnataka applicant.
Choice of Test Centre Select your preferred test Centre city from the list of cities provided Kindly note that once the city has been selected changes will not be allowed.
Gender Select the appropriate gender.
Applying for Select the appropriate test for which you are appearing Failure to select correctly will result in incorrect processing of your score.
Date of Birth Enter your Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format in the space provided.
Stream Select against the stream in which you have obtained your graduation degree
Address Write your complete postal mailing address including your first name in CAPITAL LETTERS. Failure to write a complete address might result in non-receipt of postal communication if any.
Please make a photocopy of the application form proof of acknowledgment. Applicants have to make a scan copy of Passport Size Photograph (Max 500 Kb) and Signature (200 kb) before Start Applying.

Application Fee

Demand Draft should  be made in favour of “KMAT 2020” and should be payable at Bangalore
a) Applicants who are applying for MBA have to prepare a DD of Rs 826/-
b) Applicants who are applying for MCA have to prepare a DD of Rs 826/-

Selection Procedure

  • Applicants will be selected for admission to the applied course on the basis of KMAT scores‚ group discussion and personal interview.

Karnataka KMAT Syllabus 2020

KMAT 2020 is proposed to be conducted with a moderate level of difficulty without creating confusion in paper-pencil mode. The exam will have MCQs only. The section-wise syllabus for KMAT 2020 is as follows.
Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension English language ability would be tested through questions on Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. There would be questions on understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills
Logical and Abstract Reasoning This shall include questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think. The section may have questions in sets as well individual ones based on Verbal Reasoning, analogy among others
 Quantitative Ability This shall include questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calcucshlations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time and speed etc. Apart from Arithmetic, the questions may also be based on Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and parts of mathematics
