HPTET 2019 (November) Notification – HP BOSE Registration, Exam Dates

HPTET 2019: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released HP TET Notification 2019 to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test to hire the applicants for Teacher posts. HP TET Exam 2019 is going to be conducted in eight (8) subjects such as Arts/ Non-Medical/ Medical/ Shastri/ L.T/ JBT/ Punjabi/ Urdu

The Online Application for HP Teacher Eligibility Test to be held in 09th to 17th November 2019. The last date of submission of Application Form without late fee will be 09th 10 2019 (midnight).

TET Teaching Category

  • Teacher Eligibility Test TET shall be conducted for the following teaching categories:
    • TGT (Arts)
    • TGT (NM)
    • TGT (Medical)
    • Shastri
    • Language Teacher
    • JBT
    • Punjabi
    • Urdu
  • Note: In case an applicant intends to appear in TET for more than one teaching category he/she shall have to submit separate online application and fee for each category.

HPTET 2019 Important Dates

  • Submission of Online Application Starts 19th September 2019
  • Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 09th October 2019 (Till 11:59 PM)
  • Last Date for Payment through Payment Gateway: 09th October 2019 (Till 11:59 PM)
  • Submission of Online Application with a Late Fee of Rs.300/-: 10th October 2019 to 15th October 2019 (Till 11:59 PM)
  • Period for online corrections in Particulars (No correction will be allowed in any particulars after this date): 16th October 2019 to 17th October 2019 (Till 11:59 PM)
  • Download Admit Card from Board’s website 4 days before the Exam

HPTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Himachal Pradesh Board Of School Education (HPBOSE) will conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) – NOVEMBER 2019 in the following subjects/teaching categories.

TGT (Arts)

  • B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30th Aug. 2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed. OR
  • B.A./13.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education)

TGT (Non-Medical)

  • B.Sc. (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • B.Sc. (NM) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.Sc. (NM) Ed.
  • OR
  • B.Sc. (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education)

TGT (Medical)

  • B.Sc. (Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • B.Sc. (Medical) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.Sc. (Medical) Ed.

Shastri

  • Shastri with at least 50% marks from an institution/University recognized by H.P. Government

Language Teacher

  • B.A. with Hindi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known) OR
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • BA with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education OR
  • Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

Junior Basic Training (JBT)

  • 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central State Govt. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Punjabi Language Teacher

  • B.A. with Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • BA with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education

Urdu Language Teacher

  • B.A. with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in, Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • BA with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education OR
  • B.T. with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English & one additional subject with 50%marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

Relaxations

  • Relaxation up to 5% in minimum educational qualification and also in minimum qualifying marks for TET to the applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PITH categories of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Applicants pursuing any of the Teacher Education Programme in its final year (recognized by NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the Gazette of India notification dated 25th August 2010 are eligible for appearing in the TET examination.

HPTET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • There shall be one question paper in four different series having questions of multiple choice/ objective type, carrying 150 questions of one mark each to be attempted within 150 minutes. There shall be 60% minimum qualifying marks.
  • There shall be no negative marking.
  • An applicant shall have to choose the correct answer and shade against the appropriate choice in the OMR response sheet with blue/black ballpoint pen adhering to the instructions provided.
  • As the answers will be given with blue/black ballpoint pen by darkening the appropriate circle, the applicants will have no option, to change the answers once given. Therefore, before darkening the circle, correct option/answer may be ensured.

Validity

  • The TET qualifying certificate would remain valid for an appointment for 7 years from the date of issuance of TET certificate. There will be no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a TET certificate
  • A person who has qualified TET may also appear again for improving his/her score

Age Limit

  • There is no upper age limit to apply for the TET. The age criteria are to be considered by the appointing authority at the time of appointment as per R&P Rules.

Language of Questions Paper

  • The question booklet will be set and supplied in bilingual i.e. both in English and Hindi. The question papers for Shastri will be partly in Sanskrit and partly in Hindi, Punjabi/Urdu Language Teacher will be in. Punjabi/Urdu/English only

HPTET Admit Card 2019

  • The Admit Card shall be issued only to those applicants who have submitted their Application Form complete in all respects within the stipulated time frame and who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria laid down for the purpose
  • Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is legally punishable/cognizable offense
  • The Admit Card will contain your name, roll number, photograph, the signature of the applicant, address of the examination center and test schedule. The Admit Card once received by the applicant should be carefully gone through and discrepancy, if any, should immediately be brought to the notice of the Board.
  • No applicant will be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall without a valid Admit Card
  • Application form without online shall not be considered and no Admit card shall be issued to such applicants.

HPTET 2019 Registration

  • Applicants can apply online for Teacher Eligibility Test (November) 2019 on the Board website hpbose.org
  • Please ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down for Teacher Eligibility Test – November 2019 in the Prospectus uploaded on the Board Website.
  • Applicant should enter his/her particulars i.e. Name, Father Name, Mother Name & Date of Birth as per his/her Secondary Education Board Class X Certificate.
  • Please read the instructions and proceed carefully before you start filling the online application form. Applicants must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Prospectus and on the Board website.
  • If eligible, then click on Register link and fill the Online Application Form.

  • After successful submission of the data, the Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence.
  • Applicants are advised to note down his/her system generated Application Number.

Document Required

  • Applicants must upload photograph and signature that are as per following specifications

  • Pay the application fee.
  • Before making Final Submission, Applicants are advised to cross-check all the particulars and credentials and make corrections before making Final Payments.
  • After Final Submission of the Online Application Form, applicants have to take the printout of his/her Application Form and retain for future reference.

Examination Fee

  • Examination Fee is Rs. 800/- for General and its Sub-Categories (except PHH) and Rs. 500/- for OBC/ST/SC/PHH Categories.
  • Applicants can apply online on Board Website from 19-09-2019 to 09-10-2019. No application will be entertained thereafter.
  • Information regarding the applications of applicants received with fees will be uploaded on the Board’s website hpbose.org. The applicants can check their Application for candidature and applicant particulars on the website

The candidature of the applicant, who’s fees has not been received by this Board, will not be considered for the TET-NOVEMBER-2019 examination.
