SRM University Common Aptitude Test (SRMHCAT) for Admission to UG PG Program for Session 2022
SRMHCAT 2022 – SRM University Sonepat has invited online applications for admission to various UG and PG Programs for the academic session 2022. Admission to all the courses offered by the University is based on SRM University Haryana Common Aptitude Test (SRMHCAT) 2022 to be conducted on May 31st, 2022. Application Form for SRMHCAT 2022 can be submitted on or before April 23rd 2022. Eligibility Criteria for SRMHCAT 2022
B.Tech Programs: Applicants must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination, recognized by state or central education boards. The applicants who have appeared for 12th standard in 2021 and awaiting result can also appear in the examination.
B.Com/B.Com (Hons)*/BBA: Applicants must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. The applicants who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2021 and awaiting result can also appear in the exam Applicant must have taken five subjects in 12th Standard. He/she must have studied two papers from amongst Accountancy Business Studies, Economics & Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate.
BBA LLB (Int.) /BA LLB (Int.) /B.Lib.I.Sc/ BBA-MBA (Int.): Applicants must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The applicants who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2021 and awaiting result can also appear in the exam
LL.B., MA (English), MA (Economics), M.Lib.I.Sc & MBA: Applicants must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate or; Applicants applying for a three-year LLB program must have passed graduation or an equivalent exam in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. The applicants who have appeared in final year qualifying exam in 2021 and awaiting result can also appear in this exam.
M.Sc. Microbiology (Pharmaceutical): Applicant must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any field of Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biology/Biotechnology/and Medical Laboratory Technology from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate or; The applicants who have passed in final year qualifying exam in 2019 and awaiting result can also appear in this exam.
M.Tech in CSE Program: Applicants must have passed bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology) or MCA and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate.
M.Tech (ME /Production Engg): Applicant must have passed B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/Industrial Engg/Aeronautical Engineering and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate
M.Tech in CE/ Structural Engineering Program: Applicant must have passed bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Technology and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate
PhD Program: Applicants must have passed Post graduation in the relevant discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. However, an applicant with M.Phil/CSIR – UGC/JRF/NET cleared in the relevant subject are exempted from Entrance test.

Online Application is to be submitted through SRMUH website www.srmuniversity.ac.in / https://admissions.srmuniversity.ac.in/
Steps to Apply for SRMHCAT 2022
Online Mode
- Visit the admission portal of SRM University, Chennai at www.srmist.edu.in
- Acquire the registration by filling the personal details like Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, Make Password, State, and City, etc.
- Click on Register.
- And if you have successfully registered, then you will receive an email to your Gmail.
- Open your email.
- Now you can open the mail from SRM University.
- Click on the Verification Link.
- Further, submit your registration id and password.
- Log in to your account.
- Select course for applying.
- Click on the Application Form.
- Moreover, fill the Educational Qualifications, Parent’s Details, Address Details, Academic Details, etc.
- Upload your Mark Sheets, Photographs, and Signature ( based on the size declared by the officials).
- Click on SUBMIT.
- Proceed to the payment section
- Make payment with either Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.
- Your application process is successful.
Offline Mode
- In offline mode, you have to buy the application form from the SRM University by paying the prescribed amount.
- Fill the details completely.
- Attach your photocopies, signature, and other required documents.
- Get a DD of the prescribed fee for SRMCAT 2021 from any bank in the name of SRMIST, payable at Chennai
- Post it on SRM University’s Chennai Address provided on the official web portal @ www.srmist.edu.in

SRMHCAT 2022 Exam Pattern
- Only for Law Programs: Besides successful applicants of SRMHCLAT 2022, applicants with valid score obtained in (LSAT – India)/ CLAT (Common Law Admission Test)/AILET/DU Law Faculty Entrance Exam will also be considered for admission
- PG Programs in Management: Besides successful applicants of SRMHCMAT 2022, applicants with valid score in CAT/ CMAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP will also be considered for admission
- Exemption from Entrance Exam: B.Tech (Lateral Entry)/ Dip. In HM & CT/Cert. in TTM: Admission will be made only on merit basis on the marks secured in qualifying exam

- Medium of Exam: The Medium of Exam will be ENGLISH only
- SRMHCAT will consists of 100 questions carrying 300 marks; the correct answer for each question will carrying 03 marks
- There is no negative marking
- SRMHCAT will be conducted in both Offline (Pen and Paper based Exam) and Online (Computer Based Exam)
- For B.Com, MBA (Integrated) B.LIS, M.A (English) and M.LIS Courses entrance examination would be conducted only by offline mode
- For MBA & M.Tech Courses entrance examination would be conducted online by online mode
