Eligibility Criteria for CG TET 2022

• Applicants must carefully read the eligibility criteria below, before applying for CG TET.

Nationality

• The applicants must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

• Minimum age to appear for the CG TET is 18 years and should not be more than 35 years.

Educational Qualification

For Teaching in Classes I to V

• Any of the following option may be satisfied.
• Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks or 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Paper-II (Class VI-VIII)

• Any of the following option may be satisfied.
• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in Pedagogy/ 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Selection Process

CG TET selection process contains three stages that every applicant has to pass to get appointed as a teacher within the Chhattisgarh state.

1. Applicant selection is based on the performance of the applicant in the entrance exam.
2. Applicants will be shortlisted according to the marks scored in the entrance exam.

For selection to the teaching post applicant have to go through the teacher recruitment exam that will be followed by the interview process.

CG TET 2022 Application Form

Before filling the application form aspirants must check their eligibility status. CG TET 2022 application form is available on the official website from 14th February 2022, till 01st March 2022. The mode of application form will be online.

Steps to fill the Online Application Form

• Applicant first visit the official website i.e. https://cgstate.gov.in
• Applicants must read all the rules and regulations for filling the application form
• Applicant should fill the application form with correct information.
• Applicants may also apply for both the primary and upper primary level of teaching test.
• Application form will end in the 01st March 2022

CG TET 2022 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode	The exam will be in Offline mode (Pen and Paper).
Paper Language	Paper will be bilingual, that is in both English & Hindi languages.
Marks	PAPER- I or PAPER- II will be of 150 marks.
Time Duration	2½ hours will be given for PAPER-I or PAPER-II.
Marking	No negative marking in CG TET exam
Type of Questions	Objective type (MCQ).
Each question in the paper will be of 1 mark.
