All India Entrance Examination for Postgraduate Degree Courses (MD/MS/MDS) 2018
Sri Ramachandra University Chennai has announced applications from eligible applicants for admission to PG Medical and PG Dental Courses (Recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI) respectively) for the academic year 2018.
The following are the constituent units of Sri Ramachandra University:
1) Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute;
2) Faculty of Dental Sciences;
3) Faculty of Pharmacy;
4) Faculty of Nursing;
5) Faculty of Physiotherapy;
6) Faculty of Allied Health Sciences;
7) Faculty of Management; and
8) Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, Technology and Research
The University offers, at present 13 Degree courses at undergraduate level in medical, dental, para-medical and allied health sciences disciplines and 39 courses in Medical, 8 courses in Dentistry and 35 para-medical Degree courses at postgraduate level through the above units.
In all, nearly 5000 students receive teaching and training within the University campus.

Duration of the Courses
i) All Postgraduate Degree courses: 3 (three) academic years
ii) M.Ch Neuro Surgery Degree course: 6 (six) academic years
Eligibility for Groups A & B
(Group-A: MD/MS Clinical /M.Ch Neuro Surgery Degree Courses and Group-B: M.D. Non-Clinical Degree Courses).
Every applicant must possess recognized MBBS Degree and have completed Internship (CRRI); and have permanent registration of his/her name with any State Medical Council.
However, applicants who are presently undergoing internship and who are likely to complete it on or before 31st March 2016 are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to production of a certificate as specified Medical Council Provisional Registration Certificate.
Eligibility for Group-C (MDS Degree)
Every applicant must have passed BDS Degree Examination of any recognized University and completed Compulsory Rotatory Internship (CRI); and should have obtained Permanent Registration with any one of the state Dental Council.
Selection will be made on the basis of rank secured by the applicants in the All India NEET PG 2018 merit list and subject to their qualifying the NEET PG 2018 and also satisfying criteria specified below. Intimation letters will be sent by e-mail only to the applicants provisionally selected for admission in the order of merit and branch allotment will be made through counselling.
NEET PG 2018 admit card and result copy must be produced at the time of counselling without fail. No applicant will be allowed to attend counselling without the NEET PG 2018 admit card in original and result in copy.
Applicants must also have secured not less than 50th percentile marks (in case of SC/ST & OBC 40th percentile) in the NEET PG 2018.

Filling up of the application form and attaching the self-attested copy of certificates:
a) Separate application forms should be submitted for each Group.
b) The application form downloaded from the University’s website should be filled in, in the own handwriting of the applicant; it should be submitted to the University along with a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs1000/- (Rupees Five hundred only) drawn in favour of “Sri Ramachandra University” payable at Chennai (towards the application and examination fee) and all enclosures mentioned below, in an A4 size envelope without folding it.
c) Applicants should write the name of the Course Group applied for, on the second page of the Application form without fail.
d) The application will be rejected summarily, if incomplete or sent without enclosing the relevant certificates.
e) The All India Entrance Examination conducted by this University is open to all applicants from any State or Union Territory of India.

Self-attested Photocopy of the following certificates should only be enclosed with the Entrance Examination Application Form without fail (original certificates must be produced at the time of counselling of the provisionally selected applicants only):
i) Photocopy of All India NEET PG 2018 Admit Card
ii) Photocopy of All India NEET PG 2018 Result
iii) MBBS/BDS Degree Course Mark Statements pertaining to the First year to Final year;
iv) Consolidated Statement of Marks;
v) Attempt Certificate (First year to Final year);
vi) Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC Applicants must enclose the photocopy of the Certificate)
vii) Photocopy of Birth Certificate
viii) MBBS/BDS Provisional Pass Certificate – I/II or Degree Certificate;
ix) Internship Certificate;
x) State Medical Council’s/State Dental Council’s Permanent Registration Certificate;
xi) Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate/HSC Mark Statement; and
xii) Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studied
