Swami Dayanand MCM Scholarship Program 2017 | Merit cum Means Scholarship 2017
Swami Dayanand Education Foundation SDEF has invited applications for the 3rd MCM Scholarship Program for 2017-18 sessions.
This year the foundation aims to provide this merit-cum-means scholarship to about 200 students so that they can get a good education at the graduation level.
- Shyam Lata Garg Gold Scholarships – Rs. 1,00,000 per annum (5 each)
- Shyam Lata Garg Silver Scholarships – Rs. 50,000 per annum (10 each)
- Anand Swarup Garg Memorial Scholarships – Rs.25,000 per annum (40 each)
- Ram Lal Gupta Memorial Scholarships – Rs.20,000 per annum (40 each)
- Shanti Devi Memorial Scholarships – Rs.17,500 per annum (45 each)
- Ram Ji Lal Memorial Scholarships – Rs.15,000 per annum (60 each)
MCM Scholarship Eligibility
- 1st and 2nd year Engineering/Medical/IT/Pharmacy/Architecture.
- Open for all who are studying in Govt. Colleges.
- At least 85% Marks in class 12 or 7.5 CGPA.
- Annual family income must be less than 6 lakhs.
- The age must not be more than 25 years.
MCM Scholarship Selection Criteria
Selection of Scholar will be on the basis of merit and family background such as the percentage of marks obtained in the course and annual income of the family. Eligible Students having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order.
The decision of the Foundation with regard to selection will be final. No correspondence on the selection process will be entertained.
Selection of applicants will be made on the basis of merit. The Foundation has the discretion to alter or discontinue the scholarship without any notice.
The eligible students will be intimated through email or at the address mentioned in the form.
The award of the scholarship shall not confer any right of employment with any company.
The scholarship will be paid in two installments.
The foundation reserves the right to withdraw a scholarship awarded to any eligible applicant and seek repayment of any monies already paid, through all legal means, if such eligible applicant (a) is found to have misled the foundation, about any aspect of his/her eligibility (b) if it is found that there is any discrepancy or misrepresentation in any of the documentation/information provided by such eligible applicant.
The foundation in its sole discretion may change the terms and conditions, selection criteria, selection process and/or withdraw or increase or decrease the scholarship amount at any time without giving any prior notice.
30% of the total scholarship offered are reserved for women applicants.

Interested students meeting above eligibility criteria can apply online by logging on to www.swamidayanand.org.
The last date for online registration for Scholarship is August 31st, 2017. After successful registration, the student will receive an e-mail confirmation on the registered email ID along with a copy of application form submitted.
The student may apply for one or more categories offered in the Scholarship program.
The student will take the print out of the application and submit it with copies of supporting documents for verification to the Institute. The application form should be duly certified by their Head/Principal/Dean of the Institute/College.
