Punjab Technical University has invited application for admission to Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programmes for 2017 session.
As approved by competent authority new admissions in Open & Distance Learning mode have been started by the University of Digital Learning Program (DLP). New admissions have been started for following five courses: BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, and PGDCA.
Eligibility for Undergraduate Programmes 2017
For BBA & BCA: Students who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council.
Those who have passed their Matriculation exam and have also passed 3-year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.
Eligibility for Postgraduate Programmes 2017
For MBA: Students who have passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3-year duration in any discipline from a UGC recognized University.
For MCA: Students who have passed any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3-year duration with Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics / Quantitative Techniques as Compulsory/ Optional/ Additional Paper as one of the subjects either at 10+2 or at graduation level.
Have passed BCA course of minimum 3years duration from any UGC recognized University.
For PGDCA: Students who have passed any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from any UGC recognized University.

Admission Process for PTU Distance Learning Programs 2017
Read the instructions to be followed in order to complete the Registration and Admission process:
Entries in the Registration form shall be required to be filled only in English.
Applications not filled correctly, completely and as per the instructions are liable to be rejected and fee forfeited.
Payment of fee does not confirm the grant of admission.
Final admission would be granted by the University after verifying the Registration form and the uploaded documents.
Payments would be accepted only through online mode using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking.
Applicants are required to read the Rules & Regulations provided on the website – www.edvantage.ptu.ac.in.
Applicants will have to upload the scanned image of the required documents and photograph on the website. Applicant may do it on his/her own or take help from the Registration Center
The self-attested photocopies of the required documents have to be submitted at the selected Registration Center.
Before starting to fill the online application form, keep ready the following details/documents / information:
- Valid Email ID
- Personal Details
- Educational Qualification Certificates
- Caste/ Tribe / Class certificate (for SC / ST /OBC candidate)
- Disability Certificate for persons with disability
- Defense certificate for persons from Army / Navy / Air Force
- Image of scanned photograph in jpg/jpeg/png format and size should not exceed 400 KB
- Debit /Credit Card / Internet Banking details for online payment
