M.D.: Medicine, Skin & VD, Chest & TB, Psychiatry, Peadiatrics, Radiology, Anesthesia, Radiotherapy, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, P.S.M, Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Biochemistry, Transfusion Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Palliative Medicine, Nuclear Medicine.

M.S.: Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, OBGY.

Diploma: DVD, DPM, DCH, DMRT, DA, DMRD, DGO, DPH, DFM, DTCD, D.Ortho., DORL, D.Opthal., DCP (Patho), D.D. (Diabet).

Distribution of Postgraduate Seat

The seats available for admission to medical postgraduate courses will be distributed as 50 percent to all India Quota & remaining 50 percent to the State Quota.

From the State quota 25 percent PG Degree & 25 percent Diploma Seats from Govt. Medical Colleges will be distributed to the In-Service Applicants of Public Health Dept and ESIS Dept (However for this clause GR of Govt of Maharashtra is awaited).

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra PG Medical Courses 2017

For NEET PG 2017 for Medical Postgraduate Courses:

Applicant must be an Indian National.

Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or valid passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the applicant as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality. [Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) /Non Resident Indians (NRI) /Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible].

For Unaided Private and Minority Medical Postgraduate Courses: All applicants, who have passed final MBBS Exam form the college situated in Maharashtra and completed/completing one year internship training by 31st March 2017 from a recognized medical college (Annexure-F) included in the Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 are eligible.

The Medical College should have been affiliated to Non-Agricultural Universities established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994 or the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Act, 1998 or Medical College affiliated to Deemed university as per UGC Act of 1956 under section 13/A, situated in Maharashtra.

Either the applicant should have obtained registration from the MCI or Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) will be eligible for registration for NEET-PG 2017.

For Admission to PG/Diploma Courses at Deemed University: For admissions to postgraduate/diploma courses at Deemed University colleges applicants who have passed final MBBS Exam from the MCI recognized Medical Colleges situated in India and completed/completing one year internship training by 31st March 2017 are eligible.

Applicants who have passed MBBS examination from foreign University are not eligible for NEET-PG 2017 admission process.

All Applicants desirous to take admission for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses under state quota in Unaided Private including Deemed University and Minority Colleges must have appeared for NEET-PG 2017 and declared eligible by National Board of Exams, New Delhi.

Non-eligibility of Applicant: The following applicants are not eligible for filling Preference form at NEET-PG 2017:

For admissions to Unaided Private/Minority Colleges (Excluding Deemed University admissions), Applicants who have passed Final MBBS Exam from institute located outside Maharashtra, except applicants who are Domicile of Maharashtra and selected under 15% AIPMT quota.

Applicants who have not appeared for NEET PG 2017 conducted by National Board of Exam New Delhi.

Applicants who are not completing internship on or before March 31st 2017.

How to Apply..? – Maharashtra PG Medical 2017

The details of online form submission process on DEMR website www.dmer.org are as mentioned below (Not Applicable for In-Service applicants).

Apply Online for NEET-PG 2017; link will be available on DMER website www.dmer.org and www.mahacet.org. Click on the above Link.

Application form link will be displayed. Click on Application form link.

Instructions page will be displayed. Carefully read the Instructions for filling online form (Annexure “G”); after reading Instructions, applicant has to click NEXT button to go to actual Online.

After submission of form Bank Challan will be displayed in two parts.

Unique Application No (Username) along with details of non-refundable required fee Rs.3000/- will be available on Challan and same details will be mailed to the Candidate on his given Email ID.
