Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Adequate knowledge of computer applications is required.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 32 years
(Candidates must have been born between 2nd January 1993 and 1st January 2004)
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST/SEBC/Women: 5 years
PwD Candidates: 10 years
PwD (SC/ST): Additional 5 years

OPSC ASO Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary as per Level-9 of ORSP Rules, 2017, with a basic pay of Rs. 35,400/- plus applicable allowances.
Selection Process
The OPSC ASO recruitment will follow a two-stage selection process:
Written Examination (Objective Type – 400 Marks)
Subjects include General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, English, and Odia.
Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.Computer Skill Test (Qualifying – 50 Marks)
Practical test to assess computer knowledge. Candidates must score 40% to qualify.
Final selection will be based on performance in the written exam. The skill test is qualifying in nature.
