Eligibility for Annamalai University MBBS BDS Admissions 2016
Applicant should be a Citizen of India.
Overseas citizens of India who are registered under section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955) are eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS courses subject to the production of proof of such registration.
Applicant should be a Native of Tamil Nadu.
Applicants who have studied from VIII to XII standards at schools inside Tamil Nadu need not enclose the “Nativity Certificate”.
Applicants who are native of Tamil Nadu but studied from VIII to XII Std either partly or completely at schools situated outside Tamil Nadu should produce the “Nativity Certificate”.
The Nativity Certificate in Tamil Nadu should be issued by the competent authority only in the specified format available in the prospectus (Annexure-VII(b)) and supported by a copy of Passport/Ration Card/Birth Certificate. If the copy of the supporting document is not produced, then the application will be rejected. Nativity Certificate submitted later will be summarily rejected.
Applications without a proper Nativity Certificate will not be considered.
Permanent Residence Certificate will not be accepted.
Nativity Certificate must be produced as per Instructions for Nativity Certificate in Annexure-VII(a).
Production of false Nativity Certificate, if found during the course of study, will result in expulsion of the Applicant and also initiation of criminal proceedings against the Applicant as well as the parents as per law.
Applicants should have completed Seventeen years of age on or before 31st of December, 2016. i.e should have born on or before 31.12.1999. Evidence should be produced.
Educational Qualification for MBBS BDS Admissions
Applicants should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Course conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board/any other equivalent Board in a single sitting with the following group of subjects and securing minimum eligible marks.
a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. (or)
(b) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.

Last Date for Online Registration Application Form: June 20th 2016
Last Date for Online Registration of the Filled up Application: June 20th 2016
How to Apply Annamalai University MBBS BDS Admissions 2016 ..?
Applicants can also obtain the application from by post from the Registrar, Annamalai University, by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Annamalai University” payable at Chennai for Rs.1500/- which includes postal charges.
Applicants can also apply through online and Prospectus can also be obtained from the Annamalai University Website www.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in/adm
In case of online application, a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.1500/- must be enclosed along with the filled-in application towards the application fee.
The filled-in downloaded application without Demand Draft will not be accepted.
Demand Draft (DD) must be drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Annamalai University and should be obtained on or before June 08th 2016 from any Nationalized / Scheduled Bank and payable at Chennai.
The filled-in application along with the enclosures mentioned in the prospectus shall be sent to “The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar-608002”.
