University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun has been invited applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) Management programmes offered for 2017 session.

Eligibility for UPES Management Entrance Test 2017

MBA (Oil and Gas Management)

  • Minimum 50 percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • Engineering/ B. Sc (PCM) Graduates with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (Energy Trading)

  • Minimum 50percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • Graduation in Commerce / Economics / Mathematics / Statistics / CA / ICWA / B.Tech / B.Sc (PCM) with minimum 50percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (Power Management)

  • Minimum 50 percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • Engineering/B.Sc (PCM) Graduates with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (Port & Shipping Management)

  • Minimum 50 percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (Logistics and Supply Chain Management)

  • Minimum 50 percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (International Business)

  • Minimum 50 percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (Aviation Management)

  • Minimum 50 percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (Infrastructure Management)

  • Minimum 50 percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • B.Tech / BE (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, EEE), B.Sc (PCM) with 50 percent marks from a recognized University.

MBA (Business Analytics)

  • Minimum 50percent marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (class 10th 12th).
    • B.Tech/BE in any discipline, B.Sc (PCM) or B.Sc (Maths); BA (Economics / Math); B.Com Pass or honours, BBA with minimum 50percent marks from a recognized University.

Non Examination Pathway – MBA admissions through National Level Tests

For MBA Oil and Gas / Power Management / Energy Trading / Logistics and Supply Chain Management / International Business: Students having minimum CAT score of 75 percentile or MAT score of 80 Percentile will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test and will only be called for Group Discussion & Interview. Valid CMAT scores will also be accepted.

For MBA Port and Shipping Management / Aviation Management / Infrastructure Management / Business Analytics): Students having minimum CAT score of 70 Percentile or MAT score of 75 Percentile will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test and will only be called for Group Discussion and Interview.

Examination Pathway

Admissions through UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET).

Applicants whose CAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT scores do not meet above-mentioned criteria, but they still have minimum 50 percent marks in Class 10th and Class 12th and in graduation, can seek admission to UPES MBA programs by taking the UPES Online Management Entrance Test (UPESMET).

By Demand Draft: Applicants can purchase the UPES prospectus and application form by sending a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.1850/- in favour of “UPES Fee Account”, payable at New Delhi to “University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Enrolment Office, 210, 2nd Floor, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase III, New Delhi-110020”.

By Cash: Applicants can purchase UPES Prospectus and Application on a Cash Payment of Rs.1750/- from admission counters at Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

By Online: Applicants can apply online by paying Rs.1850/-.
