Telangana State Integrated CET 2017 for MBA MCA Admission

Kakatiya University, Warangal has invited applications for appearing at the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET 2017) for admission into MBA and MCA Courses (full time/part-time/evening/distance mode) offered by the following Universities in the State of Telangana including their affiliated colleges for 2017-18 sessions.

Eligibility Criteria for TSICET 2017

The applicants should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date.

For MBA: Applicants should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.

For MCA: Applicants should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.

The qualifying Degree obtained by distance mode program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.

The applicants who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET-2017.

Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.

Qualifying marks in TSICET-2017 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST applicants.

Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a applicant to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the applicant:

i) Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.

ii) Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time/evening/distance mode).

iii) Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned.

Selection Process

Applicant’s selection is based on the performance in the TSICET-2017.

Exam Pattern for TSICET 2017

The test consists of 200 questions of one mark each in the following topics:

Section-A: Analytical Ability: (i) Data Sufficiency (20 questions); (ii) Problem Solving (55 questions).

Section-B: Analytical Ability: (i) Arithmetical Ability (35 questions) (ii) Algebraical & Geometrical Ability (30 qeustions), (iii) Statistical Ability (10 questions).

Section-C: Analytical Ability: (i) Vocabulary (10 questions) (ii) Business & Computer Technology (10 qeustions), (iii) Functional Grammer (15 questions) & (iv) Reading Comprehension (15 questions).

Total Marks: 200.

Regional Test Centers

The TSICET-2017 Exam will be held at the following 16 Regional Test Centers in Telangana State – Adilabad, Khammam, Mancherial, Siddipet, Hyderabad, Kodad, Nalgonda, Vikarabad, Jagityal, Kothagudem, Nizamabad, Wanaparthy, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy and Warangal.

How to Apply for TSICET 2017?

Applicants can apply online only.

Eligible applicants who wish to apply for TSICET-2017 may submit their applications through online mode only from March 03rd 2017 to April 06th 2017 (without late fee).

Online Registration Fee for Entrance Test: Rs.250/- for SC/ST Applicants.

(Inclusive of Registration Fee and Test Fee): Rs.350/- for Other Applicants.

The Registration fee may be paid at TS Online / A.P. Online / MEE Seva /e-Seva centers in Telangana State and A.P. / through Payment Gateway (Credit card / Debit card).

Last date for Submission of Online Applications:

  • Without Late Fee (Only Registration Fee): April 06th 2017
  • With a Late Fee of Rs.500 + Registration Fee: April 16th 2017
  • With a Late Fee of Rs.2000 + Registration Fee: April 25th 2017
  • With a Late Fee of Rs.5000 + Registration Fee: May 05th 2017
  • With a Late Fee of Rs 10,000 + Registration Fee: May 14th 2017

Date and Time of TSICET-2017:  May 18th 2017 (10.00 am to 12.30 pm)
