MICA Ahmedabad PGDM Admission 2017 in Communication
Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad is invited applications for admissions to PGDM Programme in Communication for the academic year 2017-19 through MICA Admission Test (MICAT).
Eligibility Criteria for MICA Ahmedabad PGDM Admission 2017
Admission to the PGDM (C) Program requires a Bachelor’s degree (in keeping with the 10+2+3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to register and apply for flagship PGDM-C at MICA.
Applicants appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
Applicants who demonstrate aptitude for expressing, assessing, and/or conceiving ideas that move people to action and achieve business results tend to stand a better chance of being shortlisted.
All those who apply shall have to take MICAT 2017.
Selection Procedure for MICAT-2017
The Selection Process will be twice in one academic year and selection process twice – in December-January and Feb-March – we intend to provide more opportunities to MICA aspirants.
In addition, by conducting the GE-PI process in four cities, we aim to increase MICA’s reach for aspirants from different parts of the country, while also reducing costs and stress levels for aspirants.
MICAT-2017 Exam Pattern
MICA Admission Test, MICAT 2017 will be a multidimensional computer based examination, which will assess applicants in areas such as Divergent Thinking Abilities, Written Communication Abilities, General Awareness about contemporary social and business issues, including areas relevant to media, marketing, advertising & current affairs and Analytical & Verbal Abilities.
The Admission test also includes psychometric profiling to assess the applicant’s leadership potential.
MICAT-2017 Test Cities
Following are the 14 test cities where MICAT 2017 as Computer Based Exam – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
The applicants can access the direct link provided above to apply for MICAT. They must also ensure that they fill the online application form carefully by entering their score of any of the entrance test (CAT 2016/ XAT 2017/ GMAT) they would have taken. All other details in the Application Form of MICAT 2017 must be carefully and correctly filled.
Thereafter, the requisite application fee must be paid by the applicants, either online or offline.
