MAUEB PGCET 2017 | Post Graduate Common Entrance Test 2017

Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) has invited applications for Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to various Post Graduate Programs for 2017 sessions in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra.

PG Courses & Eligibility

Only the students possessing the required qualifying degree as per the eligibility; those students who have appeared for the final degree exam for the academic year 2016-17 are eligible to appear for the CET 2017.

M.Sc. (Agri.) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Sc. (Agri) or B.Sc. (Hort) or B.Sc. (Forestry) or B.Sc. (Agril Biotechnology) or BBM (Agri)/B.Sc. (ABM) or B. Tech (Food Science/Tech)* or B. Tech (Agri Engg)* or B.Sc. (Hons) Home Science***of Agril University only and passing CET for M.Sc. (Agri).

M.Sc. (Hort) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Sc. (Hort) or B.Sc. (Agri) or B.Sc. (Forestry) of Agril University only and passing CET for M.Sc. (Hort.).

M.Sc. (Forestry) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Sc. (Forestry) or B.Sc. (Agri) or B.Sc. (Hort) of Agril University only and passing CET for M.Sc. (Forestry).

M.Sc. (Home Science) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Sc. (Hon) Home Science of Agril university only and passing CET for M.Sc. (Home Sc.).

M.Sc. (Agril Biotechnology) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Sc. (Agril Biotechnology) or B.Sc. (Agri) or B.Sc. (Hort) or B.Sc. (Forestry) or B.Tech (Food Science/Tech) of Agril University only or B.F.Sc and passing CET for M.Sc. (Agril Biotechnology).

M.Tech (Agri Engg) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Tech (Agri Engg) of Agril University only and passing CET for M.Tech (Agril Engg).

M.Tech (Food Tech) 2 years (4 Semesters): B.Tech (Food Science/Tech) of Agril university only and passing CET for M.Tech (Food Tech).

MBA (Agri) 2 years (4 Semesters): BBM (Agri)/B.Sc. (ABM) or B.Sc. (Agri) or B.Sc. (Hort) or B.Sc. (Forestry) or B.Sc. (Agril Biotechnology) or B.Tech (Food Science/Tech) or B.Tech (Agri Engg) or B.Sc. (Hon) Home Science of Agril university only or B.F.Sc and passing CET for MBA (Agri)

M.F.Sc 2 years (4 Semesters): B.F.Sc and passing CET for M.F.Sc.

M.Sc. (P.H.M.) 2 years (4 Semesters): BBM (Agri)/B.Sc. (ABM) or B.Sc. (Agri) or B.Sc. (Hort) or B.Sc. (Forestry) or B.Sc. (Agril Biotechnology) or B.Tech (Food Science/Tech) or B.Tech (Agri Engg) or B.Sc. (Hon) Home Science of Agril university only or B.F.Sc and passing CET for Post Harvest Management  (PHM).

Exam Pattern for MAUEB PGCET 2017

The Examination will have questions of objective nature along with answers in the form of 4 alternatives. There will not be any choice or option for questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered.

Number of Questions: 200

Total Marks: 200

Type of Questions: MCQ

The applicant has to mark the correct answer by blackening the corresponding circle against the serial number of the question in the OMR sheet with black ink ballpoint pen only.

Each correct answer will be given one mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Exam Fees

A student will have to pay the exam fees through self-generated acknowledgment, after submitting online application form you must take acknowledgment. The exam fees per CET to be paid through challan will be as follows:

Students belonging to Open Category: Rs.600/- per CET.

Students belonging to Reserved Category*: Rs.300/- per CET.

Students belonging to Other States: Rs.600/- per CET.

The applicant must not send hard copy of application form, challan and supporting documents to the MAUEB, Pune office.

How to Apply?

The online application form for CET-2017-18 for admission to PG Programme is available on www.mcaer.org.

Applicants are required to take help of the following instructions for filling the online application form. After submitting online application form, applicant should take SBI Bank Challan printout, which is in two parts.

Fill the Online Application Form carefully and upload scanned photograph and signature (Size of Photograph and Signature should not be greater than 35KB, 30KB respectively). Please remember the password given by you. It is important for further Login.

Printout of online application form with a copy of bank challan, one passport-size photograph to be pasted on the space provided on the application form, applicant’s signature, authentication attested from College Principal/Associate Dean and caste and non-creamy layer certificate (do not staple), if applicable should be submitted in person or through post the Controller, Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board, MCAER Building, 132/B, Bhamburda, Bhosalenagar, Pune-411007 (Maharashtra).
