CMAT Test Pattern 2018 | CMAT Exam Pattern 2018 | CMAT 2018 Exam

CMAT 2018 is a computer-based test which will be conducted twice a year Each applicant is eligible to appear in both the exams and the better of two scores will be used for the admission for each academic year.

In computer based test, a applicant will read the questions on a computer terminal and choose an answer by clicking on the correct option.

CMAT Test Pattern – There are four sections in the test.

The sections are:

1) Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation

Number of Questions: 25

Maximum Marks: 100

2) Logical Reasoning

Number of Questions: 25

Maximum Marks: 100

3) Language Comprehension

Number of Questions: 25

Maximum Marks: 100

4) General Awareness

Number of Questions: 25

Maximum Marks: 100

There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.

Duration of CMAT exam will be 180 minutes.

A Trial test will be available from Dec. onwards for the applicants to have a feel of the online test and navigation functionality. Applicants are advised to go though them carefully to familiarize themselves with the screens, layout, and navigation.

At the test location, each applicant will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a score paper for calculation. After the test, applicant should leave the score paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the test room. No breaks will be given during the test.
