LBS Centre for Science and Technology (LBSCS &T), Kerala has invited applications for admission to Master of Science in Medical Labrotary Technical (M.Sc. MLT) Course for 2016-17 sessions which has been approved by the Govt. of Kerala, is published herewith.
Institutions, Courses and Seats
At present there are 17 (seventeen) Govt. merit seats in the 3 branches as per details
Govt. of Medical College Thiruvananthapuram:
- M.Sc. (MLT) – Microbiology: 04 Seats (for Gen Merit-02, SEBC-01, Service Quota-01)
- M.Sc. (MLT) – Biochemistry: 04 Seats (for Gen Merit-02, Service Quota-01)
- M.Sc. (MLT) – Pathology: 04 Seats (for Gen Merit-02, SC/ST-01, PH-01)
MMS College of Allied Health Sci. Kozhikode:
- M.Sc. (MLT) – Microbiology: 06 Seats (for Med. Edu.-03, Gen Merit-02, SC/ST-01]
- M.Sc. (MLT) – Pathology: 04 Seats (for Med. Edu.-02, Gen Merit-02)
Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc MLT Admission 2016
Applicants who have passed the B.Sc. (MLT) Degree from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any other University recognised by Kerala University of Health Sciences (hereafter KUHS), with a minimum of 50% marks for all the years of B.Sc. (MLT) Examination taken together, will be eligible for admission.
Only Indian Citizen of Kerala origin are eligible for admission to the course; they have to provide the nativity certificate along with the applicant form.
Upper age limit for admission: 40 years for General Category and 40 years for service quota as on the date of notification.
Selection Process for MSc MLT Admission 2016
Selection of applicants, except for the seats reserved for Service Quota, will be made through an Entrance Examination that will be conducted by the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapurm.
The Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram will prepare and forward the rank list of applicants who have appeared for the entrance exam to the Director of Medical Education
Admit Cards for entrance examination will have to be downloaded by the applicant from the homepage at the website www.lbscentre.in during the time period notified.
How to Apply for M.Sc MLT Admission 2016?
Eligible applicants can apply online through the website www.lbscentre.in. The printout of the application form along with attested copies of relevant certificates should be sent to “The Director, LBS, Centre for Science and Technology”.
The application fee will be as follows – for general applicants – Rs.1000/- and for SC/ST applicants – Rs.500/- (The application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstance).

Application for M.Sc. M.L.T Course can be done through online from July 25th to August 11th 2016
Copies of the supporting documents should sent to LBS Centre on or before August 12th 2016
