Jawaharlal Nehru University Biotechnology Admission 2018 through CBEE 2017
Combined Biotech Entrance Examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University has invited Combined Entrance Examination for admission to MSc Agri-Biotechnology and M.V.Sc. programme for 2018 sessions.
Eligibility Criteria for JNUEE CBEE 2018
Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade point average from any recognized university in the concerned subjects.
Selection Procedure for JNU MSc Agri Biotechnology Admission
The selection will depend strictly on the inter-se merit of the applicant in the entrance examination vis-à-vis preferences for joining the universities indicated by the applicant.
The applicants will also be informed about the total number of seats in each participating university; the applicants will be asked to exercise their options for joining the universities in the proforma (which will be sent by JNU).
The applicants will be asked to send to JNU a bank draft of Rs 5,000/- (Rs 2,500/- in the case of SC/ST/PH applicants) as initial security deposit giving their willingness to be considered for admission to the participating universities.

JNU MSc Agri Biotechnology Exam Pattern 2018
The question paper for entrance examination will be of three hours duration and will consist of two parts, PART-A and PART-B.
Part-A: will have multiple choice type questions at the level of 10+2 in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The Applicants will be required to attempt 60 questions Total marks for Part A will be (60 questions x1 mark each) of 60 marks.
There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, ½ (half) mark will be deducted.
Part- B: will also have multiple choice questions from the syllabus detailed above in Section IV of this Brochure; there will be 100 questions out of which the applicants will have to attempt 60 questions. Each correct answer will have a weightage of 3 marks.

JNU CBEE 2018 Admit Card: The applicants may download their admit card from the university website www.jnu.ac.in around 10th May, 2018 and take the admit card to the examination centre with a copy of latest passport size photograph.
How to Apply – JNU MSc Agri Biotechnology Application Form?
Applicants can also download the Application Form from Website www.jnu.ac.in. Application Forms can be submitted only by Registered Post/Speed Post to Section Officer (Admissions), Room No.28, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067.
The applicants are also required to produce all originals of the above certificates/documents for verification at the time of registration/admission. In the absence of any of the original certificates/documents, registration/admission shall not be allowed.
Only those applicants who will be asked to exercise their option, the list/letter of these applicants will be available on JNU website www.jnu.ac.in although intimation to this effect is also sent to the applicants on their e-mail account. However, the applicants are advised to find out through their own sources whether their names appear in the list and thereby make arrangement for sending their final option together with initial security deposit by the stipulated date.
The University will not issue any paper intimation to the applicants. Applicants are advised to regularly check JNU website for updates.
