IGDTUW Delhi Admission 2017 Eligibility Conditions
For B.Tech B.Arch
Admission to the participating Universities / Institutes will be based on the All India Rank prepared by CBSE in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2017 Examination. For admission to B. Arch., Paper-2 of JEE (Main) 2017 Examination will be considered.
The qualifying exam for admission to all the participating Universities/Institutes is any of the following exam:
(i) Senior School Certificate Exam (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.
(ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi
(iii) Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Exam of the C.B.S.E.
Minimum Marks Criterion in Qualifying Exam
For B.Tech Course at IGDTUW
A applicant securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B. Tech/B.E Course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.
B.Arch. Course at IGDTUW
A applicant shall be eligible for admission to the First Year of the B. Arch. Course if she has secured 50% or more marks in aggregate, and has passed Mathematics as a subject in the Senior School Certificate Level Exam and also qualifies the JEE (Main) 2017 (Paper-2) exam.
Eligibility for Full Time M.Tech Program
M.Tech (Mobile & Pervasive Computing) Program: (i) Applicants should have B. Tech/B.E degree in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/IT/Computer Engineering/Software Engg/Electronics & Communication/or equivalent from a recognized University; (ii) AMIE/ AMIETE in relevant discipline.
M.Tech (VLSI Design) Program: Applicants should have Minimum 60% or equivalent in the qualifying exam as under:(i) B. Tech./B.E. Degree in Electronics & Communication /Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University (ii) AMIE/ AMIETE in relevant discipline; (iii) M.Sc. (Electronics/Physics with Electronics/ Informatics/Computer Science).
M.Tech. (Information Security Mgt.): Applicants should be minimum 60% or equivalent in the qualifying exam as under: (i) B. Tech. /B.E. Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Eng/ Information Technology /Electronics & Communication Eng/ Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University (ii) AMIE/ AMIETE in relevant discipline.
(iii) MCA / M Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or M.Sc. (Math/ Statistics) with Computer/ IT as a major subject
M.Tech (Robotics & Automation): Applicants should be minimum 60% or equivalent in the qualifying exam as under: (i) B.Tech/B.E. Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Mechanical/Electrical/ Production/ Mechanical & Automation/ Industrial/ Automobile or equivalent from a recognized University (ii) AMIE/ AMIETE in relevant discipline.
M.Tech (Green Technologies): Minimum 60% or equivalent in the qualifying exam as under (i) B. Tech / B.E (Any specialization) / B. Arch (ii) M.Sc. (Physics/Material Science /Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Polymer Science/ Geology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science or any other relevant discipline) with mathematics as a subject in Graduation/Post Graduation.
Part Time M.Tech (ICT) Program: Applicant who has obtained any of the following qualification with minimum 60% or equivalent in the qualifying exam as under: (i) B.E/B. Tech (CS / IT / ECE / EEE / Instrumentation or equivalent); (ii) M.Sc (CSE/IT/ Electronics or equivalent); (iii) MCA/DOEACC-B level.
For PhD in Sciences and Humanities Program
Applicants should have master degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
For MCA Program
Indian National securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in (i) B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons) /BCA/ BIT of minimum three years full time (or); (ii) B.E/B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized university.
IGDTUW Delhi Admission Procedure 2017
B.Tech and B.Arch Programs: The admission to B. Tech and B. Arch shall be done through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) portal joint hosted with DTU, NSIT, and IIITD
For M.Tech (full time) Program: The admission to M.Tech (full time) program will be based on the merit of the valid GATE score secured by applicants and thereafter on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
PhD Program: PhD Program shall be on the basis of GATE score/ NET Score and interview IDGTUW may conduct Research Aptitude Test (RAT)** as decided by the Admission Committee.
For MCA Program: The admission to MCA program of IGDTUW is on the basis of rank secured in the entrance exam conducted by IGDTUW. 85% of the total seats are reserved for applicant belonging to Delhi Region (Students passing the qualifying exam from recognized University /College / Institution located within the NCT of Delhi) and 15% of the total seats for applicants belonging to outside Delhi Region.

Availability of Admission Brochure: The e-brochure should be downloaded from the University Website www.igdtuw.ac.in and application can be filled online by submitting the fee amounting to Rs.750/- (Seven hundred fifty only) through Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, IGDTUW-Student Fee SB A/c payable at Delhi.
