If we start revising each chapter every day from day 1, we will be able to complete the revision in 50 days that is less than two months. While you are revising class 11th syllabus, you can solve problems of class 12th simultaneously. You can dedicate two hours for revision, one hour for problem-solving. Apart from this, you can involve yourself in one hour of study of what has been taught in your class. This way you are investing Four hours on a regular basis.

If you have joined an entrance exam coaching, you can revise the same lessons of the coaching class at home. You can have one hour for revision of coaching classes – be it online or offline.

Step 3 (Clear the Doubts): Even if you are the only person in the class to stand up and ask a question when doubtful, do so! Hesitation kills most of the students’ enthusiasm and inquisitiveness and that’s injurious to education. Clear doubts without any delay!

Step 4 (Reference Material): It is important that you know your board books or NCERT books thoroughly before you pick any of the reference materials. You can’t climb the mountain before you have taken lessons of mountaineering. It needs skills. In order to understand the reference materials and get everything done adequately, you need to have an understanding of each of the topics. That makes the task of referring more meaningful. After you have covered the topics and have understood, you may refer to the following important books-

Elementary Biology (Volume 1 and 2) by Trueman

Companion Biology, Dinesh Publications, by K. Bhatti

Concepts of Physics by H.C. Verma

CBSE PMT by Anil Aggarwal

O.P Tandon’s Physical Chemistry for Medical Entrance

Arihant Publication’s Objective Chemistry (Volume 1 and 2)

These are books recommended by medical experts and your seniors who have already cracked NEET. Make good utilization of the books.

Step 5 (Stay Organized): There is nothing like being organized and sorted. Keep your classwork and self-study notebooks separate. Don’t mix them up. Formulae should be jotted down in a separate notebook too. Problems should be solved in a separate notebook. When you do so, you will save time in finding your notes and a topic that is relevant to you. Also, highlight important lines and statements for convenient finding.

Step 6 (Eat, Sleep and Play): When you study, you need constant energy and stamina. For this, you will need good food that is nutritious and has a sound sleep. You should also play outdoors or get involved in physical activity that will keep you active and mind fresh. Dullness will surround you if you don’t have the good diet, proper sleep, and physical activity. At this important juncture of life, you wouldn’t want to take any chance with your health, would you?

While you are on the verge of completion of your syllabus and approaching entrance day, ensure that you begin with the test paper solution. This will be immensely helpful.

I hope that you crack NEET 2018 with flying colors!
