Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) Jaipur has been invited applications for admissions to Engineering Programs for the academic year 2017 shall be made on the basis of a PC-based online test or a conventional paper-and-pen based offline test, conducted by SGVU.
Programs and Eligibility for GVSAT 2017
This test shall be referred to as GVSAT-2017. GVSAT-2017 shall be conducted for the following undergraduate engineering programs of SGVU:
B.Tech Program (4years) in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Mechatronics, Biotechnology, Agriculture
Eligibility: 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) with Aggregate 60%.Physics/Biology for Agriculture and Biotechnology program
Dual Degree (5years): B.Tech E&C + M.Tech VLSI/IC/DWCE/SE) (B.Tech Electrical + M.Tech Power System / Energy) (B.Tech Computer Science + M.Tech SE/IC/VLSI) (B.Tech Mech + M.Tech Manufacturing / Energy).
Eligibility: 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English) with aggregate 60% marks JEE MAIN / RPET.
Students appearing for 12th exam from a recognized board in the year 2017 or who have passed 12th exam in earlier years with minimum qualifying percentage mentioned above, are eligible to appear in the GVSAT-2017.
Syllabus: GVSAT-2017 test will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus for 11th and 12th class. Applicants may refer to the NCERT textbooks for the contents. The detailed syllabus is available on the website.
Exam Pattern for GVSAT 2017
All questions are of objective type (multiple-choice questions); each question with a choice of four answers, only one being the correct choice. Eeach correct answer fetches 2 marks. No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. There is no negative marking either
There will be 120 questions in all.The number of questions in each part is as follows:
- Physics/Biology: 30
- Chemistry: 30
- English Proficiency: 30
- Mathematics: 30
Applicants who want to apply for Biotehnology or Agriculture can choose for Physics/Biology any one paper and Chemistry, English and Mathematics. Total No. of Questions: 200.

How to Apply – GVSAT 2017.?
Online Application Process: All new users are required to register themselves at www.gyanvihar.org/gvsat by clicking the “Apply Online” button and follow these steps:
Step 1: Full name, mobile number and Email-ID have to be provided by new user; a system-generated email shall be sent instantly at the email id provided by the new user, providing him/her with his/her email id as unique username & 6 digit password and other important instructions.
Step 2: Click the “Register/Login” button using the E-mail-ID & Password.
Step 3: User has to select the program of his/her choice and click on “Proceed” button and complete the application form; the user can pay the fee through different payment modes.
Offline Application Process: The applicant is required to download the offline Application Form from our website www.gyanvihar.org/gvsat or can be obtained from the University or different from Centres.
Applicant can also fill the form online at our website for offline exam.
Application Fee – Rs.300/-
Option 1: User can pay the fee online using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
Option 2: Option 2 is to be selected if the user is making the payment through bank demand draft or Challan generated and deposited at axis bank. The user is required to send a printout of the duly completed application form to the GVSAT Coordinator, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Mahal, Jagatpura, Jaipur-302017 (Rajasthan) by speed post/registered post along with the original Demand Draft/ University challan copy, before last date.
Option 3: User can also pay the fee through cash by paying the application fee at University Finance Dept.

Last date for Submission of Application Form: April 20th 2017
Last date for Submission of Application with Late Fees Rs.200/-: May 05th 2017
Date of Admit Card Generation: May 11th 2017
Date of Examination Offline: May 15th to May 28th 2017
Date of Examination Online: May 22nd to May 29th 2017
Result Declaration Online & Offline: June 02nd 2017
