UPSEE 2021 Syllabus

The appearing in UPSEE 2021 Exam, students must know about the entire syllabus of the examination.

Paper 1 Syllabus (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)

Physics Syllabus: Measurement, Motion in one dimension, Oscillatory Motion, Power & Energy, work,  Collisions, and Linear Momentum, Wave Optics and Modern Physics, Rotation of a Rigid Body About a Fixed Axis, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat & Thermodynamics, Laws of Motion, Motion in two dimensions, Wave, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current, Magnetism in Matter, Ray Optics and Optical Instruments, Gravitation, Electromagnetic Induction.

Chemistry Syllabus: Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Acid-Base Concepts, Colloids, Colligative Properties of Solution, Isomerism, Solid State, IUPAC, Polymers, Redox Reactions, General Organic, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Petroleum, Catalysis, Chemical Equilibrium and Kinetics, Periodic Table, Thermochemistry, Carbohydrates.

Mathematics Syllabus: Algebra, Co-ordinate Geometry, Probability, Trigonometry, Vectors, Statics and Dynamics, Calculus.

Paper 2 Syllabus (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology)

Physics Syllabus: Measurement, Motion in one dimension, Work, Power and Energy, Magnetic Effect of Current, Linear Momentum & Collisions, Current Electricity, Rotation of a Rigid Body About a Fixed Axis, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat and Thermodynamics, Laws of Motion, Motion in two dimensions, Wave, Electrostatics, Magnetism in Matter, Ray Optics and Optical Instruments, Gravitation, Oscillatory Motion, Electromagnetic Induction, Modern Physics and wave optics.

Biology Syllabus (Zoology & Botany)

Zoology: Origin of Life, Animal Physiology, Applied Biology, Organic Evolution, Human Genetics and Eugenics, Mechanism of Organic Evolution, Mammalian Anatomy.

Botany: Plant Cell, Protoplasm, Anatomy of Root, Ecology, Fruits, Photosynthesis, Cell Differentiation Plant Tissue, Ecosystem, Genetics, Seeds in Angiospermic Plants, Stem and Leaf, Soil.

Paper 3 Syllabus: (Aptitude Test for Architecture)

Part – A: Mathematics & Aesthetic Sensitivity

Mathematics: Co-ordinate Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Vectors, Trigonometry Dynamics, Statics, Probability,

Aesthetic Sensitivity: Communication and this test aimed to evaluate a candidate for aesthetic Perception, Creativity and Communication, Imagination, Observation, and Architectural awareness.

Part- B: Drawing Aptitude

A candidate for his understanding of Scale and Proportion, color and understanding of the effects of light on objects through shades and shadows, Sense of Perspective.

Paper 4 Syllabus: (Aptitude Test for General Awareness (/BFAD BHMCT /BFA))

English Language, Logical Deduction and Reasoning, Numerical Ability & Scientific Aptitude, General Knowledge.

Paper 5 Syllabus: (Aptitude Test Lateral Entry in Engineering)

Transform Theory, Linear Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Complex Variables, Statistics and Probability, Fourier Series.

Paper 6 Syllabus: (Aptitude Test for MBA)

The verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logical & abstract reasoning & knowledge of current affairs.

Section A (English Language):  Vocabulary, Antonyms, Uncommon Words, Grammar, Synonyms, Relationship between Words & Phrases and Comprehension of Passages, Sentence Completion.

Section B (Numerical Aptitude): Interpretation of Graphs, Numerical Calculation, Arithmetic, Geometry and Trigonometry, Charts and Tables, Simple Algebra.

Section C (Thinking and Decision Making):  Finding Pattern strands & Assessment of Figures & Diagrams, Unfamiliar Relationships, Verbal Reasoning, Creative Thinking.

Section D (General Awareness): Knowledge of Current Affairs or other issues related to trade, culture, and science, industry, economy, sports.

Paper 6 Syllabus: (Aptitude Test for MCA)

Mathematics:  Algebra, Co-Ordinate Geometry, Calculus, Probability, Trigonometry, Vectors, Dynamics, Statics, Modern Algebra.

Statistics: Mean, Median, Mode, Dispersion and Standard Deviation, Theory of probability.

Logical Ability: Analytical and reasoning capability of candidates.

Paper 7 Syllabus: (Aptitude Test  Diploma Holders in Pharmacy)

Pharmaceutics-I, Pharmaceutical Chemistry – I, Pharmaceutics – II, Pharmacognosy, Clinical Pathology and Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Physiology, and Human Anatomy, Health Education & Community Pharmacy, Drug Store and Business Management, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy and Hospital, Pharmaceutical Chemistry – II, Harmacology and Toxicology.

Paper 8 Syllabus: (Aptitude Test  Diploma Holders in Engineering)

Engineering Mechanics, Basic Electronics Engineering, Engineering Graphics, elementary Biology, Maths of Diploma standard/ Basic Workshop Practice and Physics/Chemistry, Basic Electrical Engineering, Elements of computer science.
