TS EAMCET for MBBS BDS Course 2016

In view of the cancellation of TS EAMCET-II 2016 by the Government of Telangana, the Medical Common Entrance Test will be re-conducted in the name of TS EAMCET-III 2016 by JNTUH, Hyderabad, for entry into MBBS and BDS Courses only offered in Government Colleges and Private Colleges (convener quota) for 2016-17 sessions in the State of Telangana, for those applicants only who had already applied for TS EAMCET-II 2016 (held on 09th July 2016).

Eligibility Criteria for TS EAMCET-III 2016

Applicants satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS EAMCET-III 2016:

a) Only those applicants who have earlier registered for TS EAMCET-II 2016 and have a valid Registration number (against his/her name) issued by TS EAMCET-II 2016 office earlier are ELIGIBLE to write the TS EAMCET-III-2016 scheduled on September 11th

b) Applicants should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

c) Applicants should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. The applicants should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

d) For MBBS/BDS Courses (as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07-07-2011):

i) Applicants must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of applicants belonging to SC/ST & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology)/Biotechnology.

(ii) Applicants must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of applicants who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned exam board.

Criteria for Ranking

The Applicants who have secured qualifying marks in TS EAMCET-III-2016 and applicants belonging to the category of SC/ST, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in TS EAMCET-III 2016 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying exam.

Application Form for TS EAMCET-III 2016

Submission of the Online Application Form for Medicine Stream: Applicants with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit online application for MBBS/BDS Courses.

How to Apply?

Submission of Application is not required for TS EAMCET-III-2016 as the only, those applicants who have earlier registered for TS EAMCET-II-2016 and have a valid Registration Number (against his/her name) issued by TS EAMCET-II-2016 office earlier are ELIGIBLE to write the TS EAMCET-III-2016 scheduled on September 11th 2016.
