St John’s Bangalore MBBS Entrance Exam 2016 | MBBS Application Form and Dates
St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore has invited applications for admission to MBBS Program for 2016-2017 sessions.
The admissions will be made through St John’s Bangalore MBBS Entrance Exam 2016.
Total Seats Available: 150 seats are available for the MBBS courses.
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Courses 2016
Applicants seeking admission to first MBBS courses:
Shall have passed two year Pre-University Exam conducted by Dept. of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects. The applicant shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology individually also (or);
Shall have passed any other Exam conducted by Boards/Councils/Intermediate Exam established by State Governments/Central Govt. and recognized as equivalent to two year Pre-university exam by the RGUHS/AIU, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects and the applicant shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually (or);
Shall have passed Intermediate Exam in Science of an Indian University/Board/Council or other recognized examining bodies with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as compulsory subject (or);
Shall have passed first year of the three year degree course of a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the exam is an ‘University Exam’ and the applicant shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually in the pre university or other exams mentioned (or);
Shall have passed B.Sc Exam of an Indian University, provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc Exam with not less than two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) provided the applicant has passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually.
Age Limit: The applicant should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
For 50 percent of the admission will be given to women, including Religious Sisters who will receive special consideration.
For 18 percent of the seats are reserved for applicants of SC/ST and OBC, origin (provided they qualify otherwise); they should furnish evidence of their entitlement to be classified under these categories.
How to Apply – MBBS Programs ?
Applicants interested in applying for the exam must fill in the required form and submit with fee on or before the last date.
Application Forms and Prospectus are available only to applicants who wish to apply for the MBBS Course and will be supplied to such applicants directly.
Prospectus and Application Form can be downloading from the website www.stjohns.in.
Application forms are also available At the Admissions Office, St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences Bangalore – 560034 on payment of Rs.1000/- by crossed Bank Demand Draft (non-refundable) in favour of “St. John’s Medical College” payable at Bangalore.
