Last Date for Submission of Online Form and Generation of Challan: May 18th 2017

Last Date of Depositing the Fee in the Bank: May 22nd 2017

Date of Theory Exam: June 19th 2017 at 03.00 PM, Monday

Date of Declaration of Result: June 20th 2017 at 04.00 PM, Tuesday

Date of Clinical / Practical Exam: June 21st 2017 at 10.00 AM, Wednesday

Date of Counselling: June 22nd 2017 at 02.30 PM, Thursday

Eligibility for PGIMER Chandigarh MHA Admission 2017

To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess/fulfill the following qualifying / requirements

  • Applicant should have passed MBBS, or its equivalent qualification, form a University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with three years experience after passing MBBS examination (or)
  • Must have worked in State Medical Services, Armed Forces Medical Services, or other equivalent services for a period of five years in a hospital which is approved for purposes of undergoing the compulsory rotating internship, or in a command hospital, failing which the aforesaid period of five year whole be increased to seven year
  • Provided that in case of services in Armed Forces, this aforesaid period of five years shall be in addition to one year or compulsory rotating internship required for purpose of obtaining the MBBS degree and all full registration (or)
  • Must have worked as Medical Superintendent, or Deputy Medical Superintendent, in a Civil or Military Hospital for one year
  • The posts mentioned imply that the applicants would have fulfilled the requirements of above clause as he/she would have completed five years in the State Medical Services etc

Fees and Dues

The following dues are payable to the Institute, by the applicants admitted to the MHA Course

  • Registration Fee: Rs.500/-
  • Tuition Fee: Rs.250/- per annual
  • Laboratory Fee: Rs.900/- per annual
  • Amalgamated Fund: Rs.360/- per six month
  • Security: Rs.1000/- (refundable only after completion of course)
  • Hostel Security: Rs.5000/- (refundable) to be deposited with the Administrative Officer (Hostel) if hostel accommodation is allotted

How to Apply..?

a) The applicant must fill his / her application form available on the PGI website i.e. http://pgimer.edu.in

b) The application, complete in all respects accompanied with all the relevant documents should reach the office of Registrar, PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh on or before the closing date

Procedure for Online Application Form

1) After opening the PGIMER website i.e. www.pgimer.edu.in, the applicant will open the Application Form available on the website and fill up various columns

2) After filling up all the columns, the applicant will generate Challan Form and deposit the requisite fee in any Branch of State Bank of India anywhere in India; after that the applicant fill the Challan Form No./I-collect No. in the Application Form

3) The applicant will download / print the filled Application for and paste a photograph on the available space and place his/her signature on the Application Form

4) The applicant will attach all the relevant certificates and Challan Form with the Application and sent the same to the Registrar, PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh

General Information

The applicants will fill his online application form available on the PGIMER website and will also take out a print of Challan Form (in triplicate) and application form and deposit the application fee in any State Bank of India branches all over the country

Those applicants who have SBI account can also pay their fee through i-collect service of SBI

In that case the INB reference No. will be generated and the same will be mentioned instead of Challan No. as reflected in the application form

The Challan form is needed to be filled up in the name of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Examination) in the Power Jyoti Account No. 32211613319 and those applicants who have SBI account can also pay their fee through i-collect service of SBI

They should retain a copy of Challan with to them and another copy of Challan deposited with the bank is to be attached with the application form sent to the Registrar PGI, Chandigarh.

One envelope should contain only a single Application form

Roll numbers and Admit cards will be issued to only those applicants whose application is found complete in all respects

Fee: i)For General / OBC / OPH: Rs.1000/-; ii) For SC/ST: Rs.800/-

Documents

  • Self attested copy of Matriculation / Higher Secondary Certificate Showing Date of Birth
  • ii Self attested copy of MBBS Passing Certificate
  • Self attested copies of detailed mark sheet of MBBS (all semesters)
  • Internship completion certificate
  • Self attested copy of the Certificate of permanent Registration with Central/State Medical Registration Council
  • Self attested copies of following Certificate (see performa in prospectus) whatever applicable i) Caste Certificate in Prescribed Form SC/ST (Annexure-2 (in Hindi or English Version only)
  • ii) Fresh (should be issued within one year) OBC Certificate (Annexure-3)
  • Sponsorship Certificate in original (Annexure-5) if applicable
  • Experience Certificate (if applicable)
  • Three self addressed envelopes of size 10X23 cms. Rs.10/- postage stamp on each envelope for use by this office for sending interview letter etc
  • Attach Challan Form is original (PGI Copy)
