M.D Courses: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Community Medicine.

Online Submission of Application Form: December 10th 2015 to January 25th 2016

Last date for downloading of Admit card: January 28th 2016 (Up to 9:00am)

Reporting Date and Time for the Online Exam: January 28th 2016 at 9:15am

Date and Time of Online Exam: January 28th 2016 (10:00am)

Eligibility Criteria for KIIT University PG Medical Entrance Exam 2016

The applicant must be an Indian National.

A applicant, who holds MBBS degree from a recognised medical college of India or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.

A applicant who, after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or the foreign medical degree recognized by MCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by March 31, 2016 can take up this exam but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before March 31, 2016.

The cut off dates for the recognition of the Medical Colleges from where the applicants have passed their MBBS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship for the 2016 will be 31st October 2015.

Test Scheme

There will be one paper of 3hours duration and 15minutes of test tutorial.

The test comprises 240 multiple choice, single correct response only.

There will be no negative marking.

The examination will be conducted in English medium only.

Test Centres: Hyderabad, Newdelhi, Ranchi, Banglore, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Lucknow, Kolkata, Patna, Rourkela, Allahabad, Jamshedpur and Raipur.

Reservation Policy

There is 15 percent reservation for SC applicants and 7.5 percent for ST applicants.

There is 3 percent reservation for Physically Challenged persons also (only for locomotory disabilities of lower limbs between 40 percent to 70 percent) or as per the MCI guidelines in this regard.

All the unfilled reserved seats will be converted to General Category.

Fee Structure

Course Fee: Rs.7,00,000/- (Per Annum)

Course Fee for Psychiatry: Rs.10,00,000/- (Per Annum)

Hostel Fee: Rs.54,000/- (Per Annum)

Applicants have to apply online at www.kiitee.ac.in or www.kiit.ac.in or they can download it from the website.

The print out of KIIT-2016 online registration form or filled in downloaded application form should be submitted in person/by post (Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier) so as to reach to the following address “The Director, Admissions, KIIT University, Koel Campus, Bhubaneswar-751024”, Odisha, India.
