Graduate Diploma in Packaging Distance Education 2017 at IIP Mumbai

Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) Mumbai has invited applications for admission to 2 years full-time Graduate Diploma in Packaging through Distance Mode for January 2017 sessions.

Courses Offered

Diploma in Packing – 23rd Batch (2017-19) through Correspondence.

Course Duration: 18 Months.

Seats Details

The seats for every academic year are as follows:

Mumbai – 80 Delhi – 100

Kolkata – 60 Hyderabad – 60

Seat reservation is as per the Government norms as below

OBC – 27.0%

SC – 15.0%

Eligibility Criteria for GDP Program 2017

Graduate in Science (12th +3 years degree – entire 5 years in science only), with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology (any one as main subject) or Agriculture / Food Science / Pharma or Engineering or Technology.

Students awaiting result may also apply.

Maximum Age 25 years as on 31st May 2017 (Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST).

Admission Process

Selection process through Entrance Examination at Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Delhi; the admission to this Program will be done according to the following two steps:

(i) Written Examination

(ii) Personal Interview

How to Apply?

Application form along with Prospectus can be obtained from any IIP Centre/Website of Indian Institute of Packaging by paying Rs.100/- only by cash or Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “Indian Institute of Packaging” payable at respective Centres of IIP.

Tution Fees: Rs.55,000/- plus Service Tax (Indian students); US $ 1000 (including form fee and service tax for overseas participants).

Date of Entrance Exam: June 15th 2017

Fees for the subsequent semester should be paid as follows:

03rd Semester: 21st to 31st May 2018

04th Semester: 03rd to 14th December 2018
