Government of Kerala CEE for LLM Admission 2017
Government of Kerala announces applications for the entrance examination for admission to LLM Course 2017 in Govt. Law Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode and in private Self Financing Law Colleges of Kerala which have entered into Seat sharing agreement with the State Government.
Eligibility for Government of Kerala LLM Admission 2017
Nativity: Applicant must be an Indian citizen of Kerala Origin.
Educational Qualification: Applicants who have passed the LLB examination (5year / 3year course) with a minimum of 50 percent marks from the universities in Kerala or other Universities recognised by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission.
Applicants appearing / appeared for the regular Final year LLB examination can also apply for the Entrance Examination.
Such applicants become eligible for admission only if they produce the Provisional / Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination and the mark lists of all parts of the qualifying examination at the time of allotment of seats.
Age: There is no upper age limit for admission to LLM Course.
Important Dates for Government of Kerala LLM Admission 2017
The Website will be Open for Online Registration from January 11th to January 18th 2017 (05.00 pm)
Last date for Receiving Completed Application Form in the Dept. is January 18th 2017 (05.00 pm)
Last date of Registration (by Post): January 19th 2017
Admit Card for Download University Website from January 28th 2017 onwards
Date of Entrance Exam (LLM): February 05th 2017 (Sunday, 09.30 am to 11.00 am for Paper-I and Paper-II 11.30 am to 01.00 pm)
The Questions of the Entrance Examination will be of objective type
There shall be two papers each of 90 minutes duration, from 09.30 am to 11.00 am for Paper-I and 11.30 am to 01.00 pm for Paper-II
Each paper will have 100 questions; the questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination
How to Apply..?
Applicants seeking admission to the course can apply online on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
The website will be open for online registration from January 11th to January 18th 2017, 05.00pm
Application Fee: For General and SEBC applicants, the application fee is Rs800/- (Rupees eight hundred only) and for SC/ST applicants, the application fee is Rs400/- (Rupees four hundred only)
The required fee can be remitted at any branch of the State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Challan which is available in the online application printout.
The Original Challan duly signed and authenticated by the bank authorities should be attached along with the printout of the application form.
Applicants outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by attaching a Demand Draft (DD) for the requisite amount drawn on a Nationalised Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Last date and time for receipt of printout of application: Applicants must take printout of the online application and affix a passport size photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer, identical to the one which has been uploaded, in the space provided.
This application along with the required documents should be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001, either by registered post or speed post or by hand delivery so as to reach the office before 05.00 pm.
Certificates submitted should be in the prescribed format available along with the printout of application; the candidates registered for the examination can download their ADMIT CARDS from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from January 28th 2017 onwards.
The admit card thus obtained should be brought to the examination hall
Allotment of Seats: The institution-wise allotment will be made by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in accordance with the rank obtained by the applicants in the Entrance Examination and the order of preference of institutions registered by the candidates in Centralised Allotment Process (CAP).
The date for CAP will be notified on the website and in leading news papers.
Individual intimation in this regard will not be sent to applicants.
The Entrance Examination and subsequent allotments will be based on the provisions laid down in the Prospectus for Admission to LLM Course, Kerala 2017, approved by Govt.
Applicants are advised to read the Prospectus available on the website www.cee-kerala.org before submitting their applications.
