TS EAMCET 2017 Eligibility | Eligibility for Telangana EAMCET

Applicants satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS EAMCET 2017:

Applicants should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Applicants should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. The applicants should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions.

For Engineering, Bio-Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engg) and for 50% seats in B.Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Science & Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses:

Applicants must have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Exam (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering & Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for applicants enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other exam recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, provided that applicants who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Exam (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional along with the bridge course exam in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course (or);

Applicants should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma Exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.

Applicant should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of applicants belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.

In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, applicants should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech (FST) and B.Sc (CA & BM), Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the applicants and 25 years in respect of SC/ST applicants as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

For B.Sc (Ag)/B.Sc (Hort)/B.V.Sc & AH/B.F.Sc and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech (FST)/B.Sc(CA & BM) Courses:

Applicants should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any exam recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh with any two/three of the subjects indicated against each course:

B.Sc (Ag): Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture

B.Sc (Hort): Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture.

B.V.Sc & A.H.: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences.

B.F.Sc: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Vocational Course in Fishery Sciences.

B.Tech (Food Science): Mathematics, Physical Sciences; or Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences.

B.Sc (CA & BM): Mathematics, Physical Sciences; or Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences.

Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, applicants seeking admission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in TS EAMCET 2017.

For MBBS/BDS CoursesApplicants must have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate exam (10+2 pattern) or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology)/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology)/Biotechnology at the qualifying exam.

In respect of applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology)/ Biotechnology.

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

For BAMS/BHMS/BNYS Courses: Applicants should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject.

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS.

For B.Pharmacy Course (Remaining 50 % of the seats).

Applicants should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate exam (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optional, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other exam recognized by the university as equivalent thereto.

Applicant should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of applicant belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying exam.

Applicants should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.

For Pharm.D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C applicants).

Applicants should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate exam (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other exam recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma Exam in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other exam recognized as equivalent thereto by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training.

Applicant should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of applicant belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying exam.

Applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
