Certificate Courses

Full-Time One-year Certificate Courses in WCSC for Summer Session 2017.

Eligibility Conditions: Minimum qualification/eligibility for these courses.

Only Indian Nationals/Sponsored applicants are eligible to seek admission.

Test-1

For Diploma Courses in Architectural Assistant-ship, Art for Drawing Teachers, Automobile Engg., Cosmetology & Health, Chemical Engg., Civil Engg. (Construction Technology), Commercial Art, Computer Engg., Electrical Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics Engg (Digital Electronics), EE (Medical Electronics), Fashion Design, Garment Fabrication Tech., Interior Design, Instrumentation & Control, Library & Information Science, Mechanical Engg., Mechanical Engg., (Maintenance Engg) , Medical Laboratory Tech., Polymer Technology, Printing Technology, Production Engg., Civil Engg (Public Health & Environmental Engg), Textile Design and Tool & Die Making, Information.

Minimum Eligibility: Applicant should have passed 10th class of 10+2 System or Matric or any other exam recognized as equivalent to 10th class exam, conducted by CBSE with minimum 35% aggregate in Science, Mathematics & English; the subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the applicant should have passed in each of these three.

Test-2

a) For Modern Office Practice (English) & b) For One-year Certificate Courses (Hospitality Operations, Retail Services & Finance Executive) in WCSC.

Minimum Eligibility: Applicant should have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic) or any other exam recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of best three subjects including English.

Test-3

For Modern Office Practice (Hindi)

Minimum Eligibility: Applicant should have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic) or any other exam recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of best three subjects including Hindi/Sanskrit.

Test-4

a) For Pharmacy and b) For One-year Certificate Course (Soft ware Testing Assistant in WCSC).

Minimum Eligibility: Applicant should have passed the Senior School Certificate Exam (Class-XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other exam recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate exam of the CBSE with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & either Biology or Mathematics.

The subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology are compulsory and the applicant should have pass marks in these subjects without considering grace marks.

Test-5

For admission of 10+2 Vocational Engg Stream pass outs /ITI pass outs against 10% supernumerary seats in analogous disciplines of Architectural Assistanship, Automobile Engg., Civil Engg., Civil Engg. (Construction Technology), Computer Engg., EEE & Communication Engg. (Digital Electronics), Electronics Engg (Medical Electronics), Mechnical Engg., Mechanical Engg., (Maintainance Engg), (Polymer Tech., Production Engg & Civil Engg), (Public Health & Environmental Engg), IT Enabled Services & Management (ITES&M) Tools & Die Making.

Minimum Eligibility: Applicant should have passed analogous 12th Vocational (Engg) stream of CBSE or equivalent from Schools located only in Delhi with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of best five subjects for which marks are reflected in the mark sheet (or); Passed 10th class of CBSE or equivalent + 2 years ITI (Engg) from ITI s/ITCs.

Test-2: Gen (Boys) 24 yrs., Gen (Girls) 30 yrs., OBC (Boys) 27 yrs, OBC (Girls) 30 yrs & SC/ST/PWD (Boys) 29 yrs & SC/ST/PWD (Girls) 35 yrs.

Test-3: Gen (Boys) 24 yrs., Gen (Girls) 30 yrs., OBC (Boys) 27 yrs, OBC (Girls) 30 yrs & SC/ST/PWD (Boys) 29 yrs & SC/ST/PWD (Girls) 35 yrs.

Test-4: Gen (Boys) 24 yrs., Gen (Girls) 30 yrs., OBC (Boys) 27 yrs, OBC (Girls) 30 yrs & SC/ST/PWD (Boys) 29 yrs & SC/ST/PWD (Girls) 35 yrs.

Reservation: Reservations applicable in respect of Government, Government aided and Government sponsored and private self-financing Institutions for the academic year 2017.

Selection Process

Applicant’s are selected through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted in Delhi; based on the performance in this examination a merit list is prepared.

The final admission is made according to the order of merit and the preference given by the applicant in their application. Counselling of applicants is done at Delhi.

Centres of Common Entrance Test: Centres are of Delhi only.

How to Apply?

CET application form has to be filled online accessing the website www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in from any internet access point. Screenshots of the form are as follows. Applicants will need to fill all the mandatory fields to apply online.

The Applicants seeking admission to the Diploma (Engineering /Non Engineering) courses have to apply online through the website www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in for Common Entrance Test (CET)-2017 starting with effect from March 20th 2017 to till April 20th 2017 till 05.00 pm

Non-Refundable application Fees of Rs.400/-plus Bank Charges and service tax of Rs.18/- are to be deposited by the applicant through E-Challan/Net Banking/Debit (Facility of Payment through E-Challan is only in Branches of Corporation Bank in India).
