BVP CET Engineering 2017 for B.Tech Admission

BVP CET Engineering 2017 will be conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) Pune for eligible applicants to admission in B.Tech Program for 2017 sessions.

Courses and Intake Capacities

B.Tech in Chemical (60 Seats); Civil (60 Seats); Computer (120 Seats); Electrical (60 Seats); Electronics (90 Seats); Electronics & Telecommunication (120 Seats); Information Technology (60 Seats); Mechanical (120 Seats); Production (60 Seats).

Foreign National /PIO/OCI Merit Seats: 15% supernumerary seats of over and above the sanctioned intake in each discipline are reserved for Foreign National/PIO/OCI. Applicants desirous of getting admission under this Category will have to apply to “BVDU”, Pune.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Program 2017

For appearing in CET (Engg.): Only those applicants who satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to the courses will be considered eligible to appear for the CET (Engineering) 2017.

First year of B.Tech Courses: The applicant seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC), the Indian School Certificate Exam (ISCE), or any other exam equivalent to 10+2 or HSC exam of any recognised Board/ University from any school/college situated in India.

i) Passed 10+2 Exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject; obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of applicant belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.

ii) Applicants who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying exam i.e.. HSC etc but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for CET (Engineering)-2017, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said exams.

Exam Centre for B.Tech Entrance Test

CET (Engineering) 2017 will be conducted on the date and at the time as mentioned in the calendar of events at the exam centers in the following cities: Pune, New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Vadodara, Indore, Lucknow and Bangalore.

The exact location and address of the Exam Centres will be communicated to the applicants through their admission cards.

How to Apply?

A applicant desirous of appearing for the Common Entrance Test (Engineering) – 2017 is required to complete the prescribed application form appended at the end of this brochure and submit the same to the University.

Instructions for completing the Application Form for CET (Engineering) 2017

The applicants should avoid overwriting, cutting, erasing on the form. Any discrepancies in the statements and/or submission of incomplete form will lead to its rejection/cancellation of admission.

Completed application form must be accompanied by CET (Engineering) 2017 Fee of Rs.1500/-; it should be submitted either in person (in which case the fee can be paid by cash) or mailed (in which case the fee should be paid by Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.1500/- drawn on any nationalised bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd., payable at Pune.
