Maharashtra CET 2018: The Government of Maharashtra has invited applications for Common Entrance Test for admission to 1st year of the 2-year full-time regular course in Masters in Education viz M.Ed in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State for 2018 sessions.

MAH M.Ed CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Applicant should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree from NCTE approved B.Ed. college affiliated to recognized non-Agricultural University, in (1) B.Ed., (2) B.A.B.Ed.,/ B.Sc B.Ed., (3) B.El.Ed., (4) D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each) with minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories) or
Appeared for the final year exam of any B.Ed course from NCTE approved B.Ed College affiliated to recognized non-Agricultural University (subject to Eligibility Criteria of the University concerned) NCTE approved B.Ed College affiliated to recognized non-Agricultural University; (or) Appeared for the final year exam of B.Ed.
MH M.Ed CET 2018 Exam Scheme
Applicants must note that, the tests are not disclosed to anybody else other than the applicants only during the exam; the test Papers are also not shared with anybody even after the Exam.

The CET comprises multiple choice objectives type questions in the areas of (i) Educational Philosophy and Sociology (20) (ii) Educational Psychology (20) (iii) Educational Evaluation and Statistics (20) (iv) School Administration and Management (20) (V) Information and Communication Technology and Research Aptitude (20).
There would be 100 questions to be answered in a total time of One and half hour (i.e. 90 minutes).
There is no Negative Marking.
MAH M.Ed CET 2018 Application Form
MAH-M.Ed-CET 2018 shall be conducted only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions if required, by Competent Authority, using the standardized equi-percentile method, for equating scores across sessions.
It is mandatory for all aspiring applicants to Register and Confirm the Online Application Form for MAH-MEd.-CET 2018 at www.mahacet.org and at www.dhepune.gov.in
Application Form Processing Fees as stated below is to be paid through Online System only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/Debit Card [RuPay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro], Payment Gateway for which the service charges are to be paid by the applicant. No other mode of payment shall be permitted.
For Open Category Applicants from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J&K Migrant Applicants: Rs.800/-.
For Applicants of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] Applicants belonging to Maharashtra State only: Rs.400/-.
