MAH CET Law 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Applicant should be an Indian Citizen. Applicant belonging to the type (NRI, PIO, OCI and Foreign National Students) with following Academic Eligibility is not required to appear for CET. They must only apply for CAP rounds.

(a) An applicant who have successfully completed Senior Secondary School course (+2) or equivalent (such as 11+1, A level in Senior Sr. School Leaving Certificate course) from a recognized university of India or outside or from Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Govt. or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Govt. of that Country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the Course Exam, with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (applicant belonging to SC/ ST Category with minimum 40% marks).

(b) The applicants who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate after processing studies in distance or correspondence method is eligible for the course.

Provided that, the applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open University system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible. Further provided that, applicants who have obtained 10th Std/Secondary Schooling Certificate Exam, in a single sitting exam without having basic qualification (1st to 9th standard of schooling) is not eligible.

Age Limit: There is no Upper age limit for admission to 5 year’s LLB Course.

MAH Law CET 2018 Exam Pattern

Applicants should note that, the tests are not disclosed to anybody else other than the applicants only during the exam; the test Papers are also not shared with anybody even after the Exam.

The CET comprises multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of (i) Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning (40), (ii) General Knowledge including Current Affairs (30), (iii) Logical and Analytical Reasoning (40), (iv) English (30), (v) Basic Mathematics (10) [Total 150 marks].

There would be 150 questions to be answered in a total time of 2 hours (i.e. 120 minutes). The medium of Question Papers will be English and Marathi. There is no Negative marking for this CET.

MAH Law CET Application Form 2018

MAH-LL.B 5 YEAR CET-2018 shall be conducted only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions if required, by Competent Authority, using the standardized equi-percentile method, for equating scores across sessions.

It is mandatory for all aspiring applicants to Register and Confirm the Online Application Form for MAH-LL.B 5 YEAR CET 2018 at www.dhepune.gov.in and www.mahacet.org

Application Form Processing Fees as stated below is to be paid through Online System only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/Debit Card [RuPay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro], Payment Gateway for which the service charges are to be paid by the applicant. No other mode of payment shall be permitted.

For Open Category Applicants from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J&K Migrant Applicants: Rs.650/-.

For Applicants of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] Applicants belonging to Maharashtra State only: Rs.350/-
