GPAT 2017 Exam Notification and Dates

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2017 is a national level examination conducted by the All India Council for Technology Education (AICTE) to offer admission in post-graduate pharmacy courses and awarding a few other fellowship/scholarships to pharmacy graduate.

Eligibility for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2017

Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry applicants) and those who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy course are eligible for appearing in GPAT-2017 examination.

GPAT 2017 Admission Process

The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective state governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.

In case there is no central counseling scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved institutes/university departments.

GPAT 2017 Online Registration

Applicants are required to GPAT 2017 Register Online only by visiting the official website of GPAT (www.aicte-gpat.in)

Online from October 10th 2016 to December 10th 2016 extended December 25th 2016 on website www.aicte-gpat.in

Choice of 3 cities for online examination in the order of preference.

Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however, will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.

Test Fee: General / OBC Rs.1400/- plus bank charges as applicable; SC/ST/PD Rs.700/- plus bank charges as applicable.

Payment Mode: Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card (online through www.aicte-gpat.in); cash payment (through challan generated online and cash deposited in any branch State Bank of India).

Date of Start Registration is October 10th 2016

Date of End Registration is December 10th 2016 extended December 25th 2016

Date of Admit Card Download is January 13th 2017

GPAT Exam is January 28th 2017 (29th January 2017 is a reserved day)
