Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Common Entrance Test 2016
Andhra Pradesh has invited online application for Language Pandit Common Entrance Test (LPCET 2016) from applicants who intend to take admission into one year Language Panduit Training Courses (TPT/ HPT/) in Govt. IASEs/ CTEs and Private Language Panduit Training Colleges in the state to be conducted by Department. of School Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on July 17th 2016 in all 13 Districts in the State.
Applicant should be of Indian Nationality.
Applicant should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
Age Limit: The applicants should have completed 19 years as on 01st July 2016; there is no upper age limit
Educational Qualifications: Applicant who passed the minimum qualifying examinations mentioned below are eligible to apply.
Telugu Pandit: BA (Telugu Literature) or (Oriental Language-Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu).
Hindi Pandit: A graduate degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognizsed qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or MA (Hindi).
Scheme of Entrance Test
The Common Entrance Exam shall be of completely objective type containing only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The duration of written exam is one and half-hours only, with maximum marks of 100.
Part I: Current Affairs – 20 Questions
Part II: Numerical Ability – 10 Questions
Part III: Language – 30 Questions
Part IV: Literature – 40 Questions

Issue of Hall Tickets
Applicants can download their Hall Tickets from the website at http://lpcetap.cgg.gov.in from July 15th 2016 or in case any applicant could not download the Hall Ticket she/he should contact the Help Line Phone No.: 9849909150.
The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of Exam is Rs.500/- per Applicants shall pay the fee through payment Gateway from July 01st 2016 to July 12th 2016 and submit online application at the LPCET website http://lpcetap.cgg.gov.in from July 01st 2016 to July 12th 2016.
How to Apply?
Applicants shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the LPCET website http://lpcetap.cgg.gov.in and go though it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for LPCET-2016.
Applicant after satisfying herself /himself about the eligibility criteria for LPCET shall pay a fee Rs.500 /- through payment Gateway from July 01st to July 12th 2016 for submission of application through online.
