Centralised Counseling for admission to B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch. Programmes of Four Pioneering Technical Universities / Institutes of Government of NCT of Delhi, namely Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D) & Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT), will be conducted through Joint Admission Counseling (JAC Delhi 2017).
Admission to the participating Universities/Institution will be based on the All India Rank prepared by CBSE giving 40% weightage (suitably normalised) to class XII (or equivalent other qualifying examination) marks and 60% to the performance in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2017 Exam.
For admission to B.Arch., Paper-2 of JEE (Main) 2017 Exam will be considered. For IIIT-D, there are bonus marks, which are explained in Annexure A.
Delhi Region Applicants: Applicant passing the qualifying examination from a recognised School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.
Outside Delhi Region Applicants: Applicant passing the qualifying examination from a recognised School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.
Minimum Marks Criterion in Qualifying Exam:
B.E. / B. Tech. Course at DTU, IGDTUW and NSIT: Applicant securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Exam Level (Core or Elective) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B. Tech./B.E. course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.
B.Tech. Course at IIIT-D: Applicant who has secured 80% or more marks in the aggregate of best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 80% or more in Mathematics in qualifying exam is eligible.
B.Arch. Course at IGDTUW: Applicant shall be eligible for admission to the First Year of the B. Arch. Course if she has secured 50% or more marks in aggregate, and has passed Mathematics as a subject in the Senior School Certificate Level Exam and also qualifies the JEE (Main) 2017 (Paper – 2) Exam.
For DTU, IGDTUW and IIIT-D: Applicant must be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years of age on or before the 01st October 2017. Relaxation in minimum age up to one year only with the approval of Competent Authority is permissible (Such applicant should apply for relaxation only at the time of admission).
For NSIT only: There is No minimum age requirement
The selection procedure and criterion will vary from institute to institute under JAC Delhi 2017.
Admission in B.E./B. Tech. Courses in DTU, IGDTUW and NSIT will be strictly on the basis of All India Rank in JEE (Main)-2017 Paper-I.
Admission in B.Arch. Course in IGDTUW will be strictly on the basis of All India Rank in JEE (Main)-2017 Paper-II.
For DTU, NSIT and IGDTUW: Admission to these institutes will be done on the basis of marks/ rank obtained by a applicant in JEE Main 2017.
For IIIT-Delhi: Admission in IIT-D will also be done on the basis of JEE Main 2017 score only but aspiring applicant have to obtain a minimum of 80% marks in their Class 12th or equivalent exam.
JAC Delhi 2017 Online Registration Procedure
Submission of Registration-cum-Counseling Fee: All applicants desirous of seeking admission to the engineering/architecture programmes at DTU, IGDTUW, IIIT-D and NSIT are required to visit website www.jacdelhi.nic.in to pay a non-refundable registration-cum-counseling fee of Rs.1200/- (+ Bank/Bill Desk Transactions Charges)
Online Registration is allowed as per counseling schedule only (Refer Annexure B)
The applicant will initiate the fee submission for online registration process by entering his/her following details:

- Email ID
Applicants may submit an amount of Rs.1200/- (+ Bank / Bill-Desk Transactions Charges) as registration-cum-counseling fee (Non-Refundable) using any of the following modes:
(i) By Credit/Debit Card/Internet Banking through Bill Desk Payment Gateway
(ii) Applicants can pay their registration-cum-counseling fee using the Bill Desk Payment Gateway facility accessible on this website. Additional Transaction Charges for this mode are given below:
(a) Credit/Debit Cards – 1.00% of the transaction amount plus Service Tax as applicable.
(b) Internet Banking – Rs.10/- plus Service Tax as applicable.
Applicants paying the registration-cum-counseling fee using this facility can immediately register after successful submission of the fee.
