Andhra University Distance Education Common Entrance Exam 2018
Andhra University Distance Education 2018: School of Distance Education, Andhra University has been invited applications from the applicants residing in India for Entrance Examination for admission into First-year B.A. / B.Com. Degree course for the academic year 2018.
Eligibility for Andhra University Distance Education Courses 2018
No minimum qualification is required to appear for Examination, except that applicants must have completed 18years of age by 1st July 2018. Applicants who pass the Entrance examination are eligible for admission into 1st year B.A./B.Com.
Course in the School of Distance Education, Andhra University only.
Andhra University Distance Education Application Form 2018
Applications will be issued from July 2018 onwards and intending applicants may write to the undersigned by designation for Application form by sending Rs.225/- (including examination fees) by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of the Registrar, Andhra University payable at Visakhapatnam, along with one self-addressed envelope of 9”x6” size (without affixing stamps).
Or the applicants may collect the application form by submitting a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.200/- (including examination fees) at the sales counter at the School of Distance Education (Cash, Postal Orders, Money Orders, Cheques and Challans will not be accepted).
The application forms are also available at all the Study Centers of AU SDE spread across the State, on payment of Rs.200/-by way of Demand Draft (DD).
Applications can also be registered at some selected AU SDE Study Centers as noted below and get their hall-ticket in person on the spot.

Important Dates 2018
Application Form Starts: April 20th 2018
Last date of Submission of Application without penalty: July 02nd 2018
Last date of Submission of Application with penalty Rs.100/-: July 09th 2018
Date of Entrance Exam: July 15th 2018
There will be two papers.
Each paper is of one-hour duration and carries a maximum of 100 marks. All questions are of multiple- choice. Each question will have four options out of which one is a correct answer.
Each question carries Two Marks.
The Entrance Exam will be conducted on Sunday in one session from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.
The Exam is common for both B.A. & B.Com.
After the Exam is over; the applicant is having the option to take the question papers. He/ She has to handover the Answered Sheet to the Invigilator at the Exam Hall.
Paper-1: General English General Knowledge and Aptitude (Duration 01 Hr. 100 Marks).
Paper-II: Telugu or Hindi or Sanskrit or Urdu or Oriya (Duration 01 Hr. 100 Marks).
