About Master of Public Health (MPH) Program
MPH Program at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Cochin, Kerala, India is designed to meet the healthcare needs of people. This being a full-time program can be completed in two full years.
This sincere venture of Amrita deemed university which started a year ago and we are committed to making this course of global standard.
It is a 24-month full-time course and has been designed to build an understanding, knowledge, skills and attitude for better public health practice and research.
All students receive a sound education in the core six suites & practicums.

- Social and Behavioural science,
- Health Economics and Healthcare and health system management.

MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, MSc. Nursing, Pharm D, Masters in Physiotherapy, Bachelor’s Degree in AYUSH stream; the minimum percentage for eligibility to the course is 50 %.
Experience in health field related to public health is desirable and is an added advantage.
International Students: International students will also be considered for admission. The international students should have reasonable score for TOEFL and GRE and also would be governed by Amrita University norms for international admissions.
Sponsored Students (Govt. of Kerala, Govt. of India & Non-Govt. organizations): One seat each will be earmarked for these categories.
The upper age limit was kept as 40 and for government-sponsored applicants it will be as per government norms.
Selection is based on the Marks obtained in the qualifying examination and Personal In-review and group discussion.
