Xavier Institute of Communications Mumbai Online Entrance Test (OET) 2017 for PG Diploma Courses
Xavier Institute of Communications has invited applications for admissions to the Post Graduate Diploma Courses in XIC for 2017 sessions. The admissions will be made through Xavier Institute of Communications Online Entrance Test (OET) 2017.
This Online Entrance Test refers to the following Post Graduate Diploma Courses
- Advanced Integrated Communication Programme
- Communication for Development
- Journalism & Mass Communication
- Public Relations and Corporate Communication
- Advertising, Marketing & Communication
- Film, Television & Digital Video Production
- Mass Communication Marathi
Eligibility Criteria for PG Diploma Programs
You are eligible to register for the OET if you meet the requirements mentioned below:
Applicant’s age must be in between 21st years to 35 years
You have completed 3rd years of Graduation (12+3 years) in a University approved stream in India: (Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.); OR
You are appearing for your Last Semester or 3rd year Graduation in this academic year.
In this last case, should you be selected for the XIC Course of your choice, and successfully complete it in keeping with the Academic, Attendance and other standards laid down by XIC, the Diploma will be awarded only on completion of your graduation and on production of the relevant attested Final mark-sheet of your graduation.
Exam Patten for Xavier Online Entrance Test
It is an online based exam. Test duration will be for 90 minutes.
Total marks will be 150.
Total mark for objective session will be 100 and 60 minutes will be given in order to solve these questions. Total marks for subjective session will be 50 and 30 marks will be given in order to solve these questions.
Applicants who get qualified in the online test will have to appear further for personal video interview. Applicants applied for MCM, PR and AICP Courses do not need to appear for personal video interview.
Exam Centres: Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru and New Delhi.
Admit Card: Admit card will be sent to applicants on their respective registered email ID. Applicants are also advised to check out the spam folder if they don’t get their admit card in inbox.
How to Apply?
XIC for the academic year 2017 will commence with Online Registrations for the Online Entrance Test (OET). Registrations will take place between April 01st and April 16th 2017
The Fee for the OET is Rs.3000/- Only (inclusive of Service Tax, 12.36%).
Registration Fees is Rs.500/- (Inclusive of service tax).
Instructions to fill the OET Application Form
For a trouble- free Registration Process please follow these steps:
- Since payments can be made by using your Bank Debit or Credit Cards, please ensure that these Cards are Net-Banking Enabled. If you are unsure, kindly call up the bank concerned and request them to enable this facility for this transaction. After this is cleared with your bank, you may proceed to the Next Step.
- Login to the XIC Registration website xic.in.
- Before filling up the OET Registration Form Online, Ensure that you keep a Scanned copy of a recent passport-size photograph of yourself ready for uploading.
- As part of the Registration Process, you have to provide us with your Statement of Purpose (SOP). This Statement of Purpose is considered a personal document. If you qualify for the Personal Interview stage, it could be brought up for discussion.
