University of Delhi MEd Admission: The University of Delhi, Faculty of Education has invited application for the eligible applicants for admission to Master of Education (M.Ed Programme) for 2018 sessions.
The applicants seeking admission to the Master of Education Programme (M.Ed) for the Academic session 2017-2018 should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes:
- B.A. B.Ed.; B.Sc.B.Ed
- D.El.Ed with an Undergraduate Degree (with 50% marks in each)
No. of Seats: Number of seats for M.Ed Programme – 50 seats.
Selection to the programme is based on a Written Test of 400 marks. The selection lists will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the Written Test.
The test will be of 2 hours duration. It will contain 100 questions in MCQ format of 4 marks each. There is NEGATIVE MARKING. For each wrong answer, ONE mark would be deducted.
The test will include questions to assess applicants’ understanding of perspectives/ foundational courses, educational theory, issues and concerns in education and their analytical and reflective abilities related to the contemporary Indian education discourses.
University of Delhi M.Ed Admission 2018 through Entrance Exam
The Entrance Examination comprises a written test and an interview.
Written Test on Education – Duration – 2 Hrs. Maximum Marks 40+45 = 85.
The test will include questions to assess applicants’ understanding of educational theory, their research aptitude and their analytical and reflective abilities related to the contemporary Indian education discourses.
The test will be divided into two parts. The first will be objective type (40 marks) and will qualify the applicant for the evaluation of the second part, which will include descriptive answer questions (45 marks).
Interview – 15 marks
The interview will include questions to assess the applicant’s self-expression and also the ability to substantiate arguments related to educational issues.
Age Requirement: As per Delhi University norms, there is no age bar for admission to the M.Ed. programme.

Visit the Delhi University website www.du.ac.in and register yourself.
Click apply online link and fill the appropriate form. As requisite information is filled, you reach to the part about payment. Choose the mode of payment and fill the details as per your mode of submission of fees.
Fill the security code carefully; by tracking the box given for compliance for the undertaking, the online submission can proceed by click on submit button.
This step completes the first part of the process and takes the applicant to a different page for completing the second part. The second part is to confirm the data entered in the previous step.
The entrance fee has to be paid by payment gateway using debit/credit card.
M.Ed Programme 2018 Registration Fee
Registered applicants have to pay the registration fee mentioned below for each category:
For SC/ST/PWD – Rs.250/-
For General /OBC and Other Category – Rs.500/-
