Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism Course 2017
Times School of Journalism, run by the Times Group, has opened admission for its Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism Course for 2017-18 sessions.
Specialization: Business (which includes Applied Communications), Sports, General (which includes various areas like entertainment, lifestyle, city, politics etc).
Duration: The academic year spans 12 months with – including 4 months of hands-on training by way of internship.
Times School of Journalism PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria 2017
Any graduate with minimum 45% in graduation; those with less than 45% but having relevant experience will also be considered.
Those in their Final Year of Graduation can also apply (Final year marksheet/proof of graduation has to be submitted by them by 31st December 2017).
Age Limit: Not more than 28 years; age limit can be relaxed for those with relevant experience.
Times School of Journalism PG Diploma in Journalism Selection Process 2017
Through all-India entrance examination, followed by personal interview:
Small batch size of 30-35; admissions are through an all-India entrance examination, followed by personal interview.
After careful scrutiny of all applications, only those who are eligible will be short-listed for the Entrance Exam and thereafter only those who qualify this exam (based on our internal assessment), will be called for interview.
PG Diploma in Journalism 2017 Fees Details
Application Fees – Rs 750/- (non-refundable) to be paid Online or by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on “Times Centre for Media and Management Studies” payable at New Delhi.
English: Rs 270,000 (Service Tax @ 15% and applicable surcharge(s) extra).
Caution Money: Rs.15,000 (Refundable).
Installments: Rs.100000 on admission (date of payment of first instalment). Balance in 2 equal instalments – first to be paid within 30 days of admission and rest within 2 month of admission.

Application Forms can be downloaded from www.tcms.ac.in and sent to us with copies of certificates and a fee of Rs.750/- only (non refundable).
After a careful assessment of applications, short-listed applicants will be required to take an entrance examination on dates given above.
Applicants can choose their choice of location for test and interview and also have to attach a write-up on why they want to do this course.
Course Commences: mid-July 2017 (tentative)
Course Completion: June-end 2018 (tentative)
