Direct admission to 2nd year BFSc Course 2017 at Maharashtra MCAER

Maharashtra MCAER has invited applications for direct admission to second year Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc) Course in Agricultural University in Maharashtra for 2017 sessions.

Maharashtra BFSc Agriculture Admission 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Admissions for all courses are open for Male and Female applicants.

Three years Diploma in Fisheries Engineering passed students will have to complete deficiency courses namely ‘F.TECH: Principles of Biochemistry (1+1=2 credits)’ and ‘F.TECH 124: Biochemical Techniques and Instrumentation (1+1=2 credits)’ of First Year B.F.Sc program along with the second year B.F.Sc curriculum.

Reservation of Seats

Certain seats have been reserved for the purpose of admission in the Colleges under the provisions of Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Act, 1983 and as amended by Govt. Resolutions from time to time, as enumerated below:

  • Scheduled Castes/Nav-Budha (SC): 13%
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST): 07%
  • Vimukta Jati (VJ)(a) (14 and others): 03%
  • Nomadic Tribes (NT)(b)(28 listed prior to 1990 and others): 2.5%
  • Nomadic Tribes (NT)(c): 3.5%
  • Nomadic Tribes (NT)(d) (Vanjar, Vanjari, Vanjara): 02%
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 19
  • Children of Freedom Fighter (FF): 02%
  • Handicapped Applicants (PH): 03%
  • Children of Defence Personnel/Ex-serviceman (DP): 02%
  • Female: 30%
  • 12 Agriculturist and those Children of Agriculturist (AG): 06%

Medical Examination

Medical Exam is compulsory for all the students admitted during the IIIrd Semester of the Degree Program and the same should be got done from the Civil Surgeon at the Distt. Headquarter/Medical Officer at the Rural Hospital/Primary Health Centre.

If a student is medically unfit, the Associate Dean will inform the concerned student and his parent / guardian for rectification of the defects.

Maharashtra MCAER Pune BFSc Agriculture Admission 2017 Application Form

Each applicant is required to fill in only one application form online which is available on the website, a copy of which is also available for perusal on website as Appendix ‘C’ of this Prospectus.

Application Receipt Center’ (ARC) is Pune.

Payment Mode

Deposit Fees by Challan in State Bank of India branch or through Net-banking or attach Demand Draft (DD) to the application form, payable to the “Financial Advisor, MCAER Pune” at Pune. Attach Xerox copy of Challan if amount deposited by Challan.

Fees for open Applicant is Rs.1000/- and for Reserved Category Rs.500/-.

Applicant shall send the printout of his duly signed Application form with recent passport-size photograph along with self-attested copies of relevant documents by Post or by Courier Service to KTPL’s PUNE ARC Location.

All applicants including those belonging to reserved category from States other than Maharashtra shall pay Rs.1000/- and send their application along with all the necessary documents to Pune by RPAD.

Starting Date of Online filing of Application Forms May 25th 2017

Last date of submitting the application form and along with that uploading the scanned copies of the necessary documents: June 09th 2017

Display of PROVISIONAL MERIT LIST on KTPL & MCAER Websites: June 12th 2017

Last Date of Receipt of grievances online: June 15th 2017

Display of FINAL MERIT LIST on KTPL & MCAER websites: June 18th 2017

(i) Display of First Round allotment list June 20th 2017

(ii) Last date of reporting: June 22nd 2017 (Upto 5.30 p.m.)

(i) Display of Second Round allotment (with conversions) list: June 25th 2017

(ii) Last date of reporting June 28th 2017 (Upto 5.30 p.m.)
