PhD Admission 2016 at Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai

Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai has invited applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Programme in Business Administration (affiliated to the University of Madras) for 2016 sessions.

The applicants will be tested for basic knowledge of concepts (studied at the MBA level) in all the functional areas of Business Administration (Finance, Human Resource, Marketing), Statistics, Research Methodology, Economics, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants with a record of first class in MBA (or equivalent degree) are eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

Selection of applicants will be done on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the institute. The written examination will be for duration of 90 minutes.

The paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions in all the areas as mentioned above and essay type questions in the area of the applicant’s specialization.

University of Madras requires that the Applicant scores a Minimum of 50% in the Written Exam.

How to Apply?

Application Forms and Prospectus can be downloaded from the website of the University of Madras www.unom.ac.in on or before September 30th 2016.

Rs.500/- demand draft (DD) must be drawn in favour of “The Registrar, University of Madras”, payable at Chennai.

The SC/ST are exempted from paying the application processing fee and that they should send the copy of the proof at the time of submission of application).
