JKBOPEE 2018, Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed Entrance Test 2018 | JKBOPEE B.Ed 2018 Applications

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is conducted Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed/B.Ed Special Education Entrance Test 2018. The applicants will get admission into the Government College of Education, Srinagar as well as Government College of Education, Jammu & Kashmir.

JKBOPEE BEd Eligibility Criteria 2018

The applicant applying for the Entrance Test for admission to the B.Ed Course must:

a) Be a permanent resident of the State as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of Jammu and & Kashmir;

b) Have passed BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA/BBA or equivalent examination from a recognised University/Institution according to 10+2+3 pattern, or any other qualification considered equivalent under the statutes of the University of Kashmir governing the award of B.Ed Degree.

c) Have obtained not less than 45% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam in open merit and not less than 40% of marks in aggregate in any reserved category.

The applicants appearing/appeared in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Test but they must have passed the qualifying exam and secured the percentage of marks required.

JKBOPEE BEd Exam Pattern 2018

  1. The Entrance Exam shall consist of one paper only; the question paper shall contain 160 Questions. The subject contents for the entrance exam shall confine to General English: 40 questions; General Awareness: 40 questions: Aptitude for Teaching Profession: 40 questions and Reasoning: 40 questions.
  2. All questions will be compulsory and each question shall carry one mark. There will be 0.25 negative marks for every wrong answer.
  3. The time duration for the Entrance Exam shall be one hundred and Fifty minutes (two and a half hours).

However, the applicant who secures negative marks shall not be considered for admission even if seats remain vacant.

JKBOPEE Admit Card | BEd Admit Card

Admit card can be downloaded within the prescribed date; however, mere possession of admit card shall not ipso-facto confer eligibility on applicant who is otherwise in-eligible to appear in the Entrance Test.

The Admit Cards will be available online; the applicants are advised to download their Admit Cards from the BOPEE official websites www.jakbopee.net or www.jakbopee.org or www.jkbopee.in on photo paper printed in colour.

JKBOPEE Application Form – How to Apply?

The Application Forms have to be submitted online only through BOPEE websites www.jakbopee.org / www.jakbopee.net (through URL’s/ links provided for this purpose) within the prescribed date to be notified separately.

The Payment of Rs.800/- as fee is to be made either online through the HDFC Integrated Payment gateway with the help of any National Credit Card/Debit Card/facility or by downloading online generated Bank Challan of J&K Bank/HDFC Bank for depositing the fee amount in any branch of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank directly in the BOPEE Accounts.

The reserved category applicants have to upload their category certificate along with the online Application Form.

Fee Detail

The fee to be paid by the applicant to the concerned college is not fixed by the BOPEE; hence, the BOPEE in this regard will entertain no complaint. The tentative fee, as communicated by the college, is as under:

Annual Fee: Rs.8438/- (Subject to change) to be paid in the concerned College Other Charges: As fixed by the College.
