Indian Institute of Management Bangalore FPM Admission 2017

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has been invited applications for admission to Fellow Program in Management (FPM) for 2017 session.

Areas of Specializations

FPM Students specialize in the following areas: Corporate Strategy & Policy, Economics & Social Sciences, Finance & Control, Marketing, Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management, Production & Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, Information Systems, Public Policy (not available for 2016 batch applicants)

Eligibility Criteria for IIM Bangalore Fellow Program in Management

Applicants should have a master’s degree (bachelor’s degree obtained in 10+2+3 pattern, followed by a master’s degree) or a 5 year integrated master’s degree (obtained after completing higher secondary schooling in 10+2 pattern) in any discipline, with at least 55% marks (Or).

Applicants should have a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with at least 55% marks (Or).

Applicants should have a 4-year / 8 semester’s bachelor’s degree (10+2+4 pattern) with at least 60% marks.

Applicants who are in the final year of their qualifying programs that would make them eligible can also apply.

Applicants require a valid test score either of GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET) score, or must take the IIMB Test, to be eligible. Applicants taking the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) must have the official result reported to the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB).

Selection Procedure

Based on the information provided by the applicants, selected applicants will be shortlisted (on the recommendation of the respective areas) and called to Bangalore for an area specific written test and / or interview (as per the requirement of the specific areas).

Interviews are expected to be held in the first/second week of April 2017 (tentatively).

Applicants are selected based on the performance in GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET) score or IIMB Test (as applicable), past academic performance, work experience, area specific test and/ or interview performance etc.

Applicants selected for admission are required to attend a Preparatory Course, which is expected to be scheduled from late May through mid-June 2017.

The application fee (non-refundable) is Rs.500/- for applicants applying with either of GMAT, GRE, CAT, GRE, JRF (NET) score and; Rs.1500/- for applicants opting to take the IIMB Test.
