Eligibility for IIITDM Jabalpur Phd Admission 2017
PhD (Regular, Sponsored and External):
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): M.Tech / ME in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or a similar discipline with minimum marks / CPI in Qualifying Degree.
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): M.Tech / ME in Electronics / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline with minimum marks / CPI in Qualifying Degree.
Design (DS): M.Des with minimum marks / CPI in Qualifying Degree
Physics: Master’s degree in Physics
Mathematics: Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics
Minimum % (percent) of marks in Qualifying Degree for Ph.D.: 65 percent marks or CPI of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale) for General Category applicants and minimum passing marks for SC / ST / OBC applicants; candidates who are on permanent role in NITs, IIITs, Central Universities, Govt. Universities, Defence R&D organization, PSUs for at least 2years shall be eligible to apply for admission under the category of External Registration Programme
A minimum of 60 percent marks OR a CPI/CGPA of 6.0 (on the scale of 10.00) shall be required at the master’s level qualifying examination (M.Tech/MS/M.Sc., etc.) for admission to PhD program in Mathematics / Physics.
Relaxation for reserved category will be as per Govt. of India norms.
In addition, for admission to PhD programme in Physics and Mathematics, candidate should have valid CSIR / UGC -NET / GATE / NBHM-JRF certificate/score/ DST-Inspire fellowship; preference will be given to those with qualified JRF in CSIR-UGC NET and having published research work in international journals

Filled up Application Forms along with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.500/- for General and OBC and Rs300/- for SC / ST category applicants, in favor of “The Registrar, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur”, issued by any nationalized bank, payable at Jabalpur must be received through Speed/ Registered Post only.
Applicants must write the programme and the discipline applied for, on the cover of the envelope
