B.A. – Economics, Psychology, Literary & Cultural Studies, International Studies, Environmental Studies, Journalism, Public Policy, Sociology.

B.Sc. – Applied Mathematics.

BBA (Communications Management) – Advertising & Branding, Digital Marketing & Communications, Film & Television, Communication Studies.

FLAME UG Eligibility Criteria 2018

The minimum eligibility to apply to FLAME University’s undergraduate programs is the following:

In the case of Higher Secondary School Certificate or State Boards, CBSE and ICSE, 40% marks in 12th standard with English as one of the subjects is the minimum requirement. If you wish to pursue BBA subsequently, 45% is the minimum requirement in 12th standard.

In the case of International Baccalaureate students, a diploma is a minimum requirement. International Baccalaureate certificate students are not eligible for admission.

In the case of Cambridge University students (GCE/IGCSE/GCSE examinations of the approved British Examination Bodies), ‘A’ Level certificate is the minimum requirement with 5 (Five) subjects in A, B, C Grades including English at Ordinary (‘O’) Level and 2/3 (Two/Three) subjects at Advanced Level.

Applicants in their 12th standard or equivalent class can also apply, provided they would be completing their final examination by 30th May, and can produce their 12th passing certificate/mark sheet before 31st August. Admission of such an applicant shall be strictly provisional till s/he submits the qualifying certificates before the prescribed last date.

An admission test is a mandatory qualifying criterion for admission to FLAME University. We have our own admission test called the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) for Indian applicants. We also accept SAT scores for admission. In the application form, you need to indicate whether you wish to appear for FEAT.

Selection Process

FLAME University shall evaluate your candidature based on different selection criteria. The admission results would be announced on the application portal as per the admission schedule.

We follow a sliding principle for selection, where we shortlist applicants based on their overall performance on all the parameters enlisted above.

FLAME University’s selection process is designed to give each applicant a fair chance of admission. FLAME tries to ensure that bright well-rounded individuals get admitted to its programs.

FLAME University Entrance Exam Pattern

After you submit your application, FLAME University will conduct a preliminary screening to shortlist applicants for FEAT (if applicable) and GD/PI.

If you are shortlisted, you will be intimated about the center and date of assessment. FEAT and GD/PI are conducted on the same day. FEAT is a written exam divided into 4 sections given below:

  1. Verbal Ability
  2. Reasoning Ability
  3. Quantitative Ability
  4. General Knowledge

The total duration of the FEAT shall be 120 minutes.

For applicants who have submitted their SAT scores, only GD/PI will be conducted (FEAT is optional for them). Please carry your original SAT scorecard to the GD/PI. All applicants are required to bring their certificates and other supporting documents for verification at the time of GD/PI.

FLAME University’s admission panel will conduct the GD/PI. You should carry your FEAT admit card to your test centre. You will be able to download your admit card from the application portal prior to your assessment date. Please ensure that you reach the centre on time.

FLAME University Application Form 2018

You need to visit the FLAME University admission portal for UG courses. The online application is to be submitted at http://www.flame.edu.in/admissions/apply-to-flame.

You are required to provide information such as entrance tests scores, personal contact details, educational qualification, work experience (if applicable), achievements/extracurricular activities and statement of purpose.

FLAME University Admission Dates 2018

Admissions to FLAME University occur in five distinct cycles. If you make an early decision to apply to FLAME, you can participate in the first cycle.

Early Decision Cycle: 09th – 10th December 2017 (Location: Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata); Deadline: December 04th 2017; Result: December 23rd 2017.

Campus Cycle-I: 13th – 14th January 2018 (Location: Flame Campus Pune); Deadline: January 8th 2018; Result: January 27th 2018.

Regular Cycle-I: 17th – 18th February 2018 (Location: Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore & Hyderabad); Deadline: February 12th 2018; Result: March 05th 2018.

Campus Cycle-II: March 18th 2018; (Location: Flame Campus Pune); Deadline: March 13th 2018; Result: March 31st 2018.

Regular Cycle-II: 28th – 29th April 2018 (Location: Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad); Deadline: April 23rd 2018; Result: May 16th 2018.
