Faculty of Law – University of Delhi invites application for admission to full-time 2year PhD Programme 2015 session.

Eligibility

Applicants who have secured 55 percent marks in LLM or 60 percent marks in LLB degree courses are eligible to apply for research proposal.

Last date for receipt proposal is upto February 5th, 2015

Admission Procedure

It may be noted that the admission to the PhD programme shall be strictly in accordance with the Ordinance VI-B of University of Delhi and the eligibility conditions contained therein.

The applicant would be required to appear for interview/viva-voce before the Departmental Research Committee in the office of the Dean, Faculty of Law, the date for the interview will be intimated / displayed later on the notice board of the Faculty as well as the University website: www.du.ac.in.

No personal communication would be sent to any candidate. It is further notified that the applicant may be required to appear for written test if the Departmental Research Committee so decides.

The applicant who will be selected for the PhD programme in the Faculty of Law may be paid UGC Non-Net fellowship as per University rules.

How to Apply – University of Delhi PhD Admission 2015..?

Applicant visit university website www.du.ac.in for submit research proposal.

The proposals must contain detailed synopsis (10 copies) which should be prepared in consultation with some Faculty member.

All research proposal received by the prescribed date shall be considered by the Department Research Committee in Law.

Last date for receipt proposal is upto February 05th, 2015

Candidates are advised to consult the Ordinance VI-B for detailed eligibility conditions available on the University website

In addition, all JRF, PH and teacher candidates may be registered on the basis of their Research Proposal / performances. The balance seats of 2014-2015 can be filled up before 28th February, 2015.

PhD is a Full Time regular course. Candidate who will be registered in PhD programme cannot engage in any employment or gainful activity including legal practice for which he/she would have to give an undertaking.
