Amrita University has invited applications from eligible applicants for admission to B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery) Programme offered at Amrita University, Amritapuri Campus, Kollam for the academic year 2017-18.
Duration of Course: Four and half years plus one year compulsory rotating Internship.
No. of Seats: 60.
Curriculum: As approved by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (University) and is in line with the directives of the Central Council for Indian Medicine.
Amrita University BAMS Admission 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed the higher secondary examination or equivalent in the first attempt with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and English separately.
Age Limit: Should complete the age of 17 years by 31st December 2017 & should not exceed 23 years by the said date.
Selection is based on the rank obtained in the entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita Entrance Examination Ayurveda-2017).
Exam Centres: Centers for Amrita Entrance Examination (Ayurveda) 2017 – Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Calicut, Kochi, and Thriuvananthapuram.
